I still can't get over that shift in the Phoenix game when he held the puck so deep in the zone for so long. Such a great performance.

Voynov's strength is his passing...as many times as I have seen him put a perfect pass on a forward's blade from the blue line, I can't believe more people do not notice this.

This guy is just getting started. We have a real gem in the making. As frustrated as I was with him during the playoffs, I chalk it off to freshman nervousness. I fully have confidence that he will shine, the next time the Kings are in the playoffs.

Which I sure as hell hope we have the chance to do this season.

Voynov is indeed adept at passing and sees the ice so well. I truly believe part of the reason he was off a bit in the playoffs, was that he was nursing an injury and it really affected him.
