I know he isnt marvel or DC but I would go check this out if they made it....I couldnt begin to imagine the horrible special effects and low budget lol. But I did have a few of his comics and they were pretty alright.

The Canadian company Minds Eye Entertainment announced at Comic-Con International 2011 that it planned to develop a Captain Canuck feature film. No scriptwriter or director were attached.[3]

So I guess I should duck and run for cover when I say I don't like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. At all. Don't know what it is, but I've never bought him as the character.

Hey to each their own, I think he did a great job. Sure he is taller and all that but would be hard to find a guy that is less then 5"5' and 180lbs to be closer to the size. He played the surliness fine, the conflicted nature of Wolverine who is a man trying to hold the beast in at all times. I don't know I liked his take on the character.

I just saw Chronicle. Quite a dark movie, a bit boring in some parts but decent overall, anti-climatic ending imo.

I thought there already was a Wolverine movie? I'm not tired of X-Men but a Wolverine movie is a bit boring

Agree with your view of Chronicle, I expected it to be a bit better but it was ok.

The first Wolverine was X-men Origins: Wolverine, the new one is called The Wolverine. It might be based on Wolverine's time spent in Japan (the graphic novel).

It's not really a look thing. I just don't buy him as someone trying to "hold the beast in at all times". I don't feel he as any connection to the character. I always like it best when the actor playing the roll shares traits with the character. Personally, I think Mickey Rourke would have nailed Wolverine. Just my opinion of course. Thanks for not swinging a verbal bat at my head, beowulf LOL

The Iron Patriot is making a debut in Iron Man 3 which is kinda weird because that was the suit Norman Osborne made for himself with Tony's tech when he was head of HAMMER/SHIELD.

Three Marvel Comics movies that could be cool:

1. Alpha Flight

2. ROM

3. Dazzler / Beauty & The Beast (minus Kelsey Grammar as Beast)

I would love to see a 1970's era Luke Cage Power Man / Iron Fist set in NYC in 1973. I think it could be hysterical as well as entertaining at the same time.

The whole summers/grey bloodline is powerful. The omegas in that family are Gabrial (Vulcan), Jean, Hope, Rachel, and Nate (X-man). I don't think professor x is an omega level, although I believe his son, Legion is.

I think only 10 or so are considered omega level mutants. Iceman is as well?

I know it's not Marvel but a Spawn remake, especially with today's CGI, is a must

If you had read the article , you would have seen this from director Tim Miller:

Quote:
“We’ve turned in an amazing script and done some early tests and visual development that–I’m confident–would get the fans stoked,” Miller wrote. “And Ryan [Reynolds] still loves the project. So it’s really up to Fox as to whether or not the film happens–all I can do is hope (and beg periodically) that it be allowed to move ahead.”

I doubt a studio would give it the finance and the rating that it deserves. And with Judge Dredd bombing at the box office, is there room for low key, R-Rated superhero/comic book movies? I'm not so sure. Besides Sin City, 300, and Watchmen, these types of movies rarely get made and rarely succeed.

Speaking of which, what the hells is the hold for Sin City 2? That movie could have paved way for these kinds of film to get financed and marketed properly.

EDIT: Scratch that it's coming out next october....CAN'T WAIT.

I'm not big on Ryan Reynolds being Deadpool... the guy is too dry and monotone with his humor, it's always the same note with him.

I'd love to see another Constantine(hell blazer) movie. I absolutely love those graphic novels.

They really need to do either another punisher movie or somehow work him into a different storyline be ause the three times they've done it...they've ****ed it up royally.

I'd like to see a Nick Fury movie and the Howling Commandos movie...and not ****ing black Nick Fury from civil war, but Crotchety, Irish-American, staff sergeant nick fury.

Civil War would be an interesting storyline to tackle. I personally believe that a Spider-Man movie about Carnage is a must! They also need to redo venom, but that's a different conversation.

I despised daredevil and Electra. I could see them redoing it.

For X-Men I'd like to see it done with Omega Red.

Although did pool has a sarcastic element to his humor, he also has a large goofy element to him that Reynolds doesn't do. It's just my opinion, but Reynolds is very sarcastically monotone with his comedic acting, it's been that way since 2 guys, a girl and a pizza place.

I liked the extended cut of Daredevil, besides the stupid park romance scene. That was bad. Rest of the extended cut was good, IMO.

I also enjoyed the Fantastic Four films. They weren't great, but they weren't horrible either. Mindless fun.

I don't know, I loved the cameo when Ryan played Wade Wilson in Wolverine. Thought he was perfect.
