SKA won 4-1 today. Kovy with a goal on the PP. He only got 13.35 of ice time I think though. Everything okay there? Seems a bit low since he's been getting 18 or so.

This is why I wish to see his ice time decreased with the Devils. 18-21 minutes seems good. One of the things I have to say about Pete though, and his Devils system he has is that first line/offensive players get first line minutes. That's one of the reasons I'm glad we've moved into an offensive minded team, and not defensive. I loved Madden, and Pandolfo, but at this point I'm ecstatic that we don't have a checking/shutdown line getting first line minutes. One thing that annoyed me about every new coach Sutter included(Supposedly an offensive coach) was the need to give Madden, and Pandolfo MUCH more ice time than Elias, and Parise. It was almost like it was obligatory.
SKA looks to be slumping a bit lately. Think they've lost like 3 of their last 4, and today was to the worst team in their Conference. The game they've won in that stretch on Monday was to a team that's really bad.

Yeah they were like 10-2-1 for a while when he first came I think? I think there's only been one game so far where Kovalchuk did not register a single point.
