Oh well, Smalling is back in play soon and Jones/Vidic will be late November.

It's fairly obvious Wootton is not the top caliber talent he needs to be to play for a club of Uniteds standards. Wootton is 21 years old by the way, his career at United is pretty much done by now.

He's way behind on the depth chart and a performance like this sure won't convince Fergie to play him over others.

But MU is good at developing young players

Give him time, the kid will improve

In their defense that's not always true. If Ferguson thought anything of him as a 21 year old he'd have loaned him out again rather than stash him in the U-21 league. Ferguson also usually makes his decisions on young defenders at 21. Evans into the first team, Shawcross sent to Stoke, etc.

Makes you think should United have played RvP, Rooney etc?

Sigh.. dont care that much for the League Cup but when we lose it late because of complete idiocy it's annoying as hell.

Tunnicliffe certainly didnt impresse either.

And a penalty..

Meh it wasn't worth it IMO. Big game coming up in the weekend. Welbeck and Hernandez did more than enough.

Not really, no one gives two ****s about the league cup anymore. At least no one who can win it at least. Tonight Chelsea gave slightly more of a **** than Utd, thats all.

Won't be long until Roman is forced to give Hazard a new contract to make sure he stays away from Real after CR7 gets moved to PSG.

Glad that Bradford got the reward of a big home game. A full Valley Parade rocking will be harder than you think. I remember the days they were in the Premiership. Leeds will be a tricky game for Chelsea as well.

kinda glad they got out, capital one cup is b league stuff. hardware is always nice but united have to concentrate on CL and EPL

and united is so injury prone right now. the less games in that cup the better.

I wonder how SAF is rating Hazard's value now.
