Played against Detroit and lost 3-2 but the whole game was a struggle for me. I really needed the free agency so that I can have some players that can match the powerhouse of the Red Wings and it doesn't help that the GM is a good player too.

With all due respect to the rest of the league, Panthers new GM is prob the best person I've played. Defense was phenomenal. Going by the ppl I've actually played I'd say:

1) Florida
2) Vancouver
3) Col
4) Det
5) Dal

Granted, there's a lot of tough GMs in this league and a bunch of people I'm yet to play but that's how I'd rank the people I've played.

He scored 5 straight after that and I was so tempted to rage quit but I knew I would get booted from the league if I did. I know it can be frustrating sometimes, I've had a bunch of games where I thought I played well enough to win but didn't. Sometimes the bounces just don't go your way.

So far the Devils are 1-3-1, not the greatest start in the world, but there is still A TON of hockey left to play. My goaltending has been god awful so far, we'll see if it can stabilize as the season goes on.

I agree with you the goal was screwed up but I looked at it closely on instant replay and it did go in for a bit and then seemed to go through the net, it was really strange! I wouldn't go as far to say that it changed the game completely as this happened in the first period and there was a lot of hockey still to be played, and im pretty confident i would have scored regardless if that goal went in or not..

For example Fuss scored on me from center ice in one of our games, but im not complaining cause it happens that goals go in weird from time to time!

Couple EXTREMELY tight games against the Wild tonight.

Game 1 - Wild scored with 2.4 seconds left to win it in regulation.
Game 2 - Wild win in OT

Unfortunate that the Oilers came out on the losing end of them both, but we'll take it.

If anything it's looking like the Northwest Division is going to be very very strong with Colorado, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Minnesota. Sorry Calgary... (I'm gonna regret saying that aren't I)

I went into instant replay after the goal and it literally never went in, the puck went through the post and along it or along the outside and then it went out the other side. Oh well it's to late for that now and a loss is a loss.

Did you lose MacArthur for 30+ games as well?

2 vs. 3
Tough loss in a pretty close game. Spent too much time trying to score highlight reel goals... especially when he challenged with the goalie.

4 vs. 3 SO
Very close, back and forth game. Both teams were evenly matched. Even the SO came down to extra skaters!

I can confirm that Macarthur got the bad end of a corner battle with big bad Luke Schenn. Was surprised to see him out for 39 games today.

I know this isn't the best way to schedule games but I haven't been on since the sim to see who I play and won't be on until this evening. I will send PMs then.

So, anyone who plays the I will be on at 5 PM Atlantic time and will be around home the rest of the evening. If you have me on your schedule send me a PM with any time between 5 and 11PM atlantic and I will be on at that time to play you.

Atlantic is an hour ahead of Eastern, in Canada at least, I suppose this time zone doesn't exist in America so maybe that is why there has been confusion.
Maybe I can just give my time in Eastern to avoid confusion

The new and improved Canadiens will be playing Ottawa (x2), Buffalo, New Jersey (I will get revenge for my playoff loss) and Tampa (Vinny plays versus Tampa for the first time) during this play period.

This explains a lot. Whenever my computer time would reset I'd set it to Eastern (when should be Atlantic) and I'd be like WTF is this ****? It's still wrong.
