Holy ****ing ****, that's way less than I expected to pay them!

Glad to see Musil coming to Edmonton, he'll shore things up nicely.

Hopefully Gernat comes back sooner rather than later.

Musil-Gernat pairing would develop from WHL-AHL-Hopefully NHL

I was thinking the same thing, huge coup for the Oil Kings who's top-4 is looking ALOT better now.

I wonder if, when the games Really matter, Reinhart and Musil can play 30 mins a night?

WOW, that's crazy. I was hoping that the Oil Kings would trade for him but didn't actually think it would happen. It's going to be awesome to see him play in our own backyard. I wonder if they will pair him with Reinhart? Eh, probably not so they can spread the wealth over 2 pairings.

I think that Musil is our most underrated prospect so it'll be interesting to see how he plays on a very good team where he doesn't have to be depended on to do everything.

I'm so unhappy about this. I'm in Vancouver and other than the couple games where OKC is in town, Musil was my one Oiler related player I got to watch

Musil has already been playing a ton of minutes so I don't see why not. Those 2 will be the best pairing (assuming they play together) in the CHL.

It was something you had to know that was coming. I am sad that Geertsen is gone, but you will like him. He is coming along nicely and when he fights he likes to throw bombs.

Oh definitely (I even called the return minus the fact I thought they'd get a 2nd as well), but I was hoping it would be later in the year. I'm sure Geertsen is a good dman, but that's all the Giants really have now, with Vannieuwenhuizen and Orban already playing that role in the top 4.

I'm interested to see how much Musil climbs up our prospect rankings now that more people will see him

I'd rather see each other paired with a more offensive Dman.

Can't wait until Gernat is healthy.

Wow! Great move by Bob Green.

My Ryan Murray pipe dream was just that...

Once Gernat is healthy the Oil Kings will have one hell of a defence.

I would put Shmoorkoff over Sautner.

Yeah I had no clue about the last pairing but IMO I like Corbett over sautner but yeah I think sautners a good 7th dman. How will the OKs look next year after we lose a bunch of people?

Gosh, I'll give a shot at next years roster. That'll be interesting.

Jarry
?????

Corbett Sautner
Mayo Shmoorkoff
Irving ?????
(Maybe Gernat will play as a 20 year old because of his injuries)

Moroz Lazar Wruck (I think Wruck can play next year)
Kulda Benson Bertolucci
Baddock Pollock ????? (Maybe Legault as a 20 if Gernat goes to OKC or Stockton)
???? ???? ?????

I trust Bob Green and Randy Hansch to fill the holes. They seem to know what they're doing.

OK. I kind of figured Wruck would be too old, but isn't Foster their only 20 year old this year?

Wruck is 20 as well.

They only have two, and I expect them to add one more before the deadline.

Shmoorkoff really isn't that good at all. He's sheltered as hell out there, the coaches seem very selective when/who he gets to see on the ice. I know he brings that toughness/fighting/character element which they don't really have because now Geertsen is gone, but he could very well be going down to Jr. A next year, he's only played in like half the games so far and he's an 18-year-old rookie..
