Just finished buying my tickets for the Barons games in Abbotsford on Nov 9th & 10th. Best seats in the house for under $40. I could pretty much sit wherever I wanted. It was just a question of not sitting too low to the ice level. (I don't like being too low where you cannot see the plays developing). Can't wait to see Hall, Eberle, RNH, & Schultz. (Plus some of the other potential Oilers). I'm stoked!!!!

yeah we really won't know until he plays some games... the type of shoulder injury he had is pretty famous for taking a LOOOOONG time to heal properly.... is a young guy, and should therefore heal better than a 32 year old, but to expect him to be anywhere near 100% before next spring is fantasy

What if Taylor Hall bolts and remains in the AHL once the season starts?

I'm also going! Just the 9th though, hope that's the game Hall plays if indeed he's just doing one of the two back-to-backs for the first month as indicated!

Why does Hall have to sign a contract? He's still on a 2-way deal. Did Eberle and RNH also sign AHL contracts?

Because they couldn't "send him down" before the lockout kicked in like the others, due to being on the Injury Reserve. So the back door is to sign an AHL-only contract, because they can't make any roster moves like demoting someone to the AHL with the lockout now in full swing.

So I guess there was no special provision for Hall to play in OKC, this is just the norm for anyone on a NHL deal that would want to go down now.
