Only radio (german) or liveticker (german), dunno if any site is translating the liveticker, I've read it some days ago, there shall exist one *shrug*

Well, I posted the links to the Eisbären radio and ticker before but that comment seems to need to be approved by a mod.

edit: 3:3 Giroux 2nd assist.

... 5:3 emtpy net, win for Straubing, Eisbären again like all the time this season after an European Trophy game: Playing **** in their league, ***** they doin' ...

Seems like "Brioux" will stay longer in Berlin:

New York: The National Hockey League announced today the cancellation of the 2012-13 regular-season schedule through November 30 because of the absence of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NHL Players' Association and the NHL.

Timonen sighting. Apparently there was a charity hockey game with most of the 2010 Blackhawks vs. other NHLers. Timonen is briefly in this clip of Carcillo fighting some MLB pitcher (I don't pay attention to baseball).

Wayne Simmonds had quite a disappointing evening yesterday I guess... His team lost 1:4, Wayne himself didn't score any point and a bunch (10-20 people) of home team's supporters shouted some racist crap at him... The one and only positive thing about that is that those guys were so stupid that they shouted the chant in czech - so Wayne wouldn't even notice until someone told him.

In other news, if anyone's interested: Jagr may not be a Flyer anymore but I'm sure someone would be interested in this video. Jagr scored a hattrick yesterday (and added an assist) and I'm putting it here because all those goals were quite pretty moves which would enjoy any hockey fan, see for yourself.

nice goals, but do they seriously not take the body at all in that league?

Sparta (the other team) is very soft and weak this year, that's for sure. I asked that question myself when I saw the highlights yesterday, Jagr went through their defense like a knife through the butter - which is btw. the best comparison of this year's sparta d-corps: butter.

There are usualy a bit more physical games, although I have to admit Extraliga is very weak as opposed to many other Euro leagues. (And being one of the softer ones even in Europe, that's quite an accomplishment)

By the way, the lack of using the body was pretty well visible also when Milan Michalek scored his second goal of the match yesterday: here.

Wayne Simmonds scored a game winning goal yesterday when he nicely tipped the puck under the crossbar - he finished the game 2 + 0.

*yeeks* 26th minute 2:1 HAN:EBB own goal by Giroux ~.~ I wonder what he wanted to do

31st minute 2:2 nice assist by Giroux

32nd minute 2:3 own goal by HAN

looks like, G has much fun, he tried to reach a pass with a plunge unreachable though

Brière tries to feed his team with good passes during their 5min power play but Berlin doesn't build much pressure ...

51st minute 3:3 ... Berlin without power ...

big chance, great move by G but HAN's keeper stood good

3:4 win for Eisbären Berlin during the overtime

Read with a primary assist and an empty netter in a 3-1 win today.
SSK fans had a banner, showing their appreciation. According to the almighty Dustin Leed, Södertälje is now a KHL team, not an Allsvenskan one.

Well, he tweeted the same picture (at least a similar one) and said that Read in the KHL has been a huge success. Or something like that.

Haha, he "corrected" himself and changed KHL to SEL. He says SSK plays in the "second tier of SEL". I don't know, I can laugh about it, but it amazes me how someone like that can be gainfully employed in hockey/sports business.

edit: Oh, and I'm assuming you're the one who pointed it out to him on Twitter?

No, but it's still not an excuse to not check facts. It takes literally five seconds.

I just googled it. Yeah, it does take 5 seconds. It's 3rd grade level fact checking.

22nd minute 2:2
27th minute: 3:2
29th minute goal by G - 3:3 (official - own goal by Wolfsburg)
40th minute 3:4 G with assist
40th minute 3:5 G wins the face off, passes directly to Brière, he presses it to Talbot and goal!
