Fuss, just a suggestion.....maybe a schedule advance schedule locked on the thread somewhere? I'm thinking something locked on the thread, like right after the contact info on the first page. Something like:

Fri. Nov 2 9pm
Mon. Nov 5 9pm (double advance)
Thurs. Nov 8 10pm advance
etc.

Just so you're not constantly being bothered about when the next advances are?.....speaking of which, when is the next advance?

I can do that. I did it last season towards the end of the year but still got relentless questions about it.

GM CONNECTED WISHLIST

Since it looks like 90% of the GMs in this league are here to stay, i think we should try and get a "NHL 14 GM Connected Wishlist" going. By the looks of it, The Bluth Company is arguably the most active GM League on HF Boards so i dont think its too far off to say that the things we think should be fixed are pretty accurate. I'll wait one month to take everyone's suggestions and then i'll see if i can send it out (somehow) to the Devs at EA and then they'll (hopefully) have enough time to work some of these things into NHL 14. The Updated List will be located here...

1.) Live Draft
2.) Spectator mode
3.) Practice mode
4.) trade rumors like in NHL 11 or 12 (i.e. if a team sends a trade offer to another team about a player, it might say that team X is shopping a top 3 winger or something like that)

Go to practice mode and do a 5-3 and practice on breaking in the zone and then setting up plays and focus on moving the puck around to the points and then once you can dominate 5-3 go to 5-4 until you can do the same, than 5-5 and do the same. Puck movement is pretty crucial ive found. The more you move the puck the more you'll catch the goalies cheating.

once im set in the offensive zone, I can control it pretty well.. its just the snipe shots and the dekes at the blue line and right infront of the goal i can't pull off that everyone else does so well

Im telling you go to the shooting drill. pretend the joystick is like a crosshair. When your aiming for top left, you dont want to put our joystick dead inbetween the left crosshair and the top crosshair you want to put it RIGHT about where the left crosshair would be, same with the bottom corner. If that makes any sense. Like 30 minutes in the shooting drill you'll see what im talking about. I do the same thing in game though. I ALWAYS shoot wide or not where i want beucause i just figure thats where it should be for the corner, but its not the case.

Patience... there's plenty of time for you to get smoked tonight by the Oilers

I'll try and get on as soon as I'm home from work... should be somewhere between 945-10...

The Winnipeg Jets might have something to say about that as they continue their golden state roadtrip! I'll be on in 30

Just beat the Flyers 3-2 in OT. Giroux made it 1-0 early but Crosby tied it up in the 2nd. Brown scored with 6.6s left in the 2nd to make it 2-1. He then tied it up in the 3rd and the game needed OT. The goal was an absolute beauty and déjàvu from Croaby stick handling the puck for 30 seconds behind the net with Spezza on him and then he gets a pass out and they score. The difference with this goal was Crosby was mainly stick handling along the boards and he lost the puck but got it back and went around the net and got it to a wide open Eriksson who buried it for the game winner. Definitely think I'm back to my normal self right now and can't wait to get the rest of my games in.
