Is he for sure gone for the whole resign phase? If so I think I'll just kick him and let him come back when he's back. Might still end up with a big loss but won't be nearu as bad.

I've tried accessing it and every time I go to the sign free agents page, it says that the period has past, and it also says that when I try to trade players too.
is the new season starting any time soon??? I see november 9th, i took a look, why is the off season longer than the playing season???it seriously takes 5 minutes to resign your players etc, people have to be willing to log in and do this, i guess i understand i just have not played a game in this league in almost a month getting anxious

If it was up to me I'd allow two days for July 1 and then SIM to the start of the season. But I'm not the commish so
I was planning to do sims Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday @ 10pm Mtn. time.
It is still up for discussion but thats what I had in mind. If you have something that might work better, let me know. I'm open to suggestions.
Also, anyone who hasn't sent me a trade offer // pm for any of those players, I'm planning to make saturday the day they all go. Just thought I would let you guys know. Thanks,
How are there so many good free agents out there?! Makes me wonder if this league is gonna fall apart because of it.
Also on a note to that Pit-Col trade that should have been rejected, colorado has now given away duchene, landeskog, e. johnson and o'rielly for free...hmm

Well I haven't done the sim yet, and I was actually thinking of pushing it back to tomorrow morning since I didn't announce it this morning. So, I can actually do that if you guys like. Will everyone still be okay with simming on saturday and sunday 10pm Mtn? Thanks for suggestion,

It has been done to Colorado. Why is it such a big deal to you guys? How does it ruin the league? You don't know that he just had trouble signing those guys like many of us did with good players. He signed other players so it's not like he bailed. I feel like just simming to the season now so people can play games and not worry about other stuff so much.

This is how I feel about giving away great players: The only reason I would give away a great player is if he didn't fit into my playing style. I know there are some players out there who are 4.5 and really good offensively but I like the players who are more athletic than anything as Athleticism can help players become good offensively. Now, before I start a big debate, I want to end it like this and hope people only focus on this part.
Personal Playing Style. If he doesn't fit your style, than there is reasonable cause for change, IMO.

This free agent crop would be no different in real life. I see no problem here. IMO. Two big fishes in Eric Johnson and Alex edler on the skaters side
