amazing....wow...that's quite the adjective for a middle of the pack team so far
I agree with you that they have been a midpack team so far, but so have the Wildcats.
What I have seen in the two games against the Wildcats is not a contender, but nor is Moncton.
These two teams got different problems with similar results.

i agree on all your points you just made. but to say that Bathurst is an amazing team with amazing depth..... rose coloured glasses buddy!!! easy on the pills!!!
Both teams have no depth, there... Just all agree on that lol.
Two disappointing teams for sure, whose coach is first to go?
you are 100% right. no depth on each team. i posted last week and i'm sticking with my story....players in midget AAA is not depth Depth is 4 lines or at least 3 lines of proven Q league players.
whose coach is the first to go: i dont think it should be him, but i'm afraid Dubois will be the first. Flynn is too close to mr. Irving, it will buy him some time.
Brennan was good last night, i'm not sure i would consider this a dissapointing game. If the Cats win their next game, the loss is all forgotten and life carries on in moncton!!
Moncton won 6 of their last 8 games after an 11-2 thumping against Shawinigan last night. Saulniers tore it up , Alex with a hat trick and 5 points , Allain with 4 points. Kris Hodge scored his first Q career goal and added two assists. Goals from all four lines last night. Had to feel for Chase Gaudet! They left him in net for all 11 goals in front of his family and friends from the Maritimes/Summerside
Moncton beat BLB 3-0 and it was by far the best game they played this season. This is the second time we beat the #4 team in the country this season. The entire team showed up and executed their game plan for 60 minutes. Offence created lots of quality scoring chances , defence played well and forced alot of shots from the outside and Dubeau was outstanding! Dubeau made several brilliant saves, recorded a shutout and earned the game's first star.

The Moncton Wildcats have released goaltender Spencer Tremblay. The Wildcats signed 19 year old goaltender Cole Holowenko from Penticton, BC.
Cole is 6’2” 190lbs and played 47 games last season with the Prince Albert Raiders in the WHL. He had a 3.98GAA and a .890 Save Percentage.
“This was an opportunity to add an experienced 19 year old goalie to our lineup. Cole was a starter in Prince Albert, played over 2300 minutes and gives us an experienced partner for Alex Dubeau.”
He's expected to be in the line up Friday against BLB.
