Didn't watch the game but it seemed like a snoozer from what I've read.

With the firepower on the team, it's pretty weird that we cannot seem to find consistency scoring, especially on the PP (0 for 9).

Eakins better find a system that works because that PP is unacceptable, especially with the talent he has at the AHL level.

Kadri and Colborne with the big three assists each after seven games, Kadri minus 2, Colborne plus 2, really isn't cutting it. Neither is making a particularly strong case for themselves. Gardiner is showing he's too good for the AHL, these two still look inconsistent, which is a bit concerning. Particularly Kadri, he should be ripping this league apart, and yet we're left with "ya but he's creating tons of chances". Just score already, where is the urgency in his game?

Is there something physically wrong with Kadri?

He looked like a boy playing against men behind the Heat net. One play late in the game there was a scrum in the Heat corner and the Heat player just put his stick on the puck, looked up the ice and skated away like there wasn't anyone there. I shook my head it was comical.

Several times they just took the puck away from him like it was nothing.

Kadri had surgery right? Did he rehab? In open ice he looked fine, but in traffic not so much.

Maybe I'm just underrating the Heat defense? I don't think they've lost in regulation, maybe they're just a good team.

And this is why Burke will trade for Luongo.
