Yeah... and it seems like time slows down (in a good way) and you seem to have more to do.

Just won the Cup with the Avs in NHL 13. Saw John Mitchell lift it. Was quite satisfying.

I don't really care about the class. The prof and the TA was upfront listening to the research presentation which I had complete reign over in terms of topic and everything else and they were going to ask critical thinking questions after and that's why I was nervous

I am on a poker sabbatical after a half-quarterly of madness still good for $17K.
Killem was blessed with a baby human.
BP received AC3 in the mail yesterday and is probably busy gaming.
Bob has been in a better mood lately but still VERY mysterious
I suspect KU is sorting through some thoughts that he's been having as of late.
TCRF has been oddly quiet in the past weeks probably because no one responded to any of the 3 events/potential hang outs that he posted on here.
And I've been posting on this thread a little too much. What can I say? *****ing bored lately.

So ya, not much.

Can't blame him, I'm looking into getting that game, the ads for it are amazing.

Typical.

I believe KU is on Long Island, so it's very possible he's without power. I was lucky enough to only lose power for a minute on Monday, but I believe they were saying 90% of Long Island is without power.

I want to punch Con Edison in the face. Repeatedly.

Not cause I don't have power, because I have never dealt with a company that makes it so difficult to give them money.

so im in a pickle of sorts. Ive got three different people in the company I work for trying to get me in their divisions/teams. One is in product design (pretty much making toys, which is what Id like to do as a career- but the lady Ive heard is a taskmaster and pretty much a nightmare to work for), one is in mechanical engineering (which is also a choice of career for me, and the boss is a guy whos kinda cool kinda not.) And the other would be like a personal engineer to the head of product (which doesnt really excite me all that much, but Id love to work for the guy, cause he knows his stuff).

With each job, I can learn a lot of things to push my career along, but each one in its own different way. Its like reading those Nintendo books from way back when where you chose the path of Mario.

Of course money is a factor, and depending on the price they pay, it could sway my descision. There was something else I wanted to mention, but really forgot about.
Anyhow, here I sit after hours waiting for the mech.engineer guy to come out of a meeting somewhere so I can see what he thinks. I came from a place previously where something like this (trying for one person) created a lot of backstabbing and people fired, and from another person in the company told me that that doesnt really happen here. Which I sort of believe, but its still in my mind.

anyhow, /rant

94.3 FM is rock now

Which is good and bad, good to have a rock station, but I had a soft-spot for the "Generation-X" radio on 94.3. They played some classic jams.

There's also 95.9, 102.3, 104.3...and that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Luckily one of my parents cars (yeah, I don't own a car, whatever) has XM radio.

Thanks, i'm going to give those a listen, i've listened to 104.3 but thats more older rock music, im trying to stay with the recent rock/alt rock. RXP had the perfect mix of that.

89.5 FM played two Iron Maiden songs today. I think they're a Seaton Hall station.
