Roy dropping the gloves!

Must've gotten it from his dad.

Pysyk is an NHL defenseman. He looks like he's the most naturally gifted player on the ice.

Potentials there. He could realistically push for a spot next year. He still has work to do which includes getting stronger

2nd period notes:
  • Blunden with the early chance, but pad save by Leggio.
  • Rankin puts it out of play, delay of game upcoming, Hamilton to the PP; Porter with SH chance, looked to have an empty net but Tinordi dives to block it; no chances, penalty expires.
  • Rankin separates Geoffrion from his helmet with a solid hit at the blue line.
  • Things beginning to get chippy, as Boyce takes a cross-checking penalty, Amerks to the PP; possession but no real chances get through; penalty expires.
  • Roy fights Gallagher; Roy lands a few early rights.
  • Boyce cross checks Varone into Mayer, Amerks to the PP again; more blocked shots by Bulldogs, ugh, plenty of possession; penalty expires.
  • Palushaj streaks down the wing, wrister gobbled up by Leggio.
  • Porter takes a hooking penalty 180 feet away from Leggio, Bulldogs to the PP; penalty expires.
  • Boyce draws an iffy holding call on McNabb, Bulldogs back to the PP; 3-4 shots in a scramble, Leggio covers.
  • END OF 2ND PERIOD. 1-0 Amerks and the lead in shots 21-18. Bulldogs have 0:36 left in a man advantage.
  • Lots of comments, quips about bad ice from whatever event was at the BCA earlier this week.
  • To date, Rochester are 3-0-0 when leading after two periods and are second in the league in GF in the third period.

He is a great athlete. Was at the top on some of the endurance tests at the NHL combine before he was drafted.

Just needs to add some muscle and experience and he is ready to go!

The Circus was in town last weekend followed by the Bruce Springsteen concert on Tuesday. They plan on putting new ice in on Wednesday but the Springsteen concert was moved to Wednesday due to Hurricane Sandy. So they had to put the new ice in on Thursday and one day isn't enough for the ice to be perfect for the game tonight.

He's been incredible, looks so poised on the ice and just in the right place at the right time every time. Would be a great partner for Myers.

Go figure, a Sabres affiliate blowing a 2-goal 3rd period lead. Ruff prevent.
