The dark horses?
We spend a lot of time talking about our top prospects. Which of our lesser discussed prospects do you see as having the potential to break onto the sens and never look back?

Derek Grant as a bottom-6er.

Cannone - top 6 forward with great 2-way playmaking ability.

When is the court date?
Right after you settle with Dwayne Jonhson or after the hearing for your Homer avatar?

Shane Prince. Think he's going to be a solid 2nd liner for the team for yrs. to come.

Don't see the great 2-way play yet, but he is a solid performer.

DaCosta is going to have to show a lot more to even get a sniff of the NHL with the Sens.
Currently DaCosta is probably ranked 9th, based on recent performance, on the depth chart for centers.
Spezza, Turris, Smith, O'Brien, Cannone, Pageau, Grant, and Zibby (notwithstanding current LW trial conversion) are currently ahead of him IMO.

Is it just me or does anyone else have their eyes glaze over when they run into a small (bad) vs big (good) post that is obviously posted by aragorn?
Just wondering.
If Shane Prince qualifies, I'd go with him.

Is Cannone having a good year so far? His name is coming up a lot more than I was expecting here.

It's interesting seeing a list like this, given that the sens really only have maybe 1-2 spots to fill in any given season, and there are always 5-10 more guys coming in through the draft every single year.
Almost every prospect is a dark horse in the sense that they've got 20 or so other guys to beat out and not a lot of time to improve.

I consider his skating to determine that factor.

Lol, no. DaCosta's 5th. I don't know how he's that low on your list with the better proven track-record he has compared to the others.
The steal and set-up last night for the winner is an NHL IQ move. He has more attributes that are NHL ready than the rest of those players you mentioned.
