DaCosta is going to have to show a lot more to even get a sniff of the NHL with the Sens.
Currently DaCosta is probably ranked 9th, based on recent performance, on the depth chart for centers.
Spezza, Turris, Smith, O'Brien, Cannone, Pageau, Grant, and Zibby (notwithstanding current LW trial conversion) are currently ahead of him IMO.

It's interesting seeing a list like this, given that the sens really only have maybe 1-2 spots to fill in any given season, and there are always 5-10 more guys coming in through the draft every single year.
Almost every prospect is a dark horse in the sense that they've got 20 or so other guys to beat out and not a lot of time to improve.

Lol, no. DaCosta's 5th. I don't know how he's that low on your list with the better proven track-record he has compared to the others.
The steal and set-up last night for the winner is an NHL IQ move. He has more attributes that are NHL ready than the rest of those players you mentioned.
