Are you a Tampa fan, and would you really offer that?

No, Avs. And no again, but that's what it would take to get Malkin.

Well, Stamkos + Hedman is still a better offer, but whatever.

LOL dude

My point is, how do you know Tampa is cool with it?

I offer Phil Kessel for Craig Adams. Nobody can beat this.

So 1st line RW capable of 30 goals, 2nd line center capable of 60 points, top 4 Dman capable of 20 minutes a night and Top Prospect ready to break into NHL.

Going by this from my own fav team, Kesler, Burrows, Edler and Kassian.
After considering cap, Pits would have to send some salary and lesser replacement players back.
How about Filppula, Franzen, Quincey, and Nyquist/Tatar?

My offer is actually a legitimate offer compared to " Kessel for Adams". If Pittsburgh said I'll give you Malkin for Stamkos and Hedman, I would certainly think about it seriously.

OK. Would Tampa fans think about it? Probably not. Their #1D and much younger 60 goal man. Doubt it.

PIT is stacked on D anyway, they want offense, which is what the Sens offer gives them

I don't think Pittsburgh would turn down Hedman, but fine, your offers better. Happy?

You're completely missing the point. I didn't say my offer was better, I'm saying Tampa probably wouldn't offer that. Goodness.

I'm a Vancouver fan more than a Pens fan, even tho they rank #2 for me.
I'd personally take my own offer to yours tho, Filp has a contract due, Franzen is getting old with a contract that goes till 40, and Quincey isn't that good.

At least my offer has a 2nd line center signed, a signed RW'r who produces with quality players and a replacement RW when Burrows retires.

I would personally take Kesler, Burrows, Edler and Kassian offer if anything for Crosby tho.
I would even try to counter Crosby + Martin + Fleury for Kesler, Burrows, Edler, Kassian, Schneider + 1-st knowing how high people value Crosby

Pens say no. Sid is so much to the Pens. It's just that simple. That is tremendous value going the other way, but it just doesn't happen. Cap reasons, neither team would do it, and it's not even likely.

I understand your point Catwomen. All I said was that Stamkos + Hedman > Spezza, Michalek and Zibanejad/Silfverberg And that Pittsburgh wouldn't turn down a guy like hedman, which are all true. But yes, If I was a Tampa fan I likely wouldn't make the trade, but I would consider it.

Malkin will most likely stay in Pittsburgh. Pens will find a way to keep him. But if my team (the Avs) maybe it would take:

Matt Duchene
Erik Johnson
Draft pick

Any team would want Malkin, but there's way I'd send a huge package deal just to get him.

Still probably not enough.
Kessel
Gardiner or Rielly

1st in '13
1st in '14

More likely to get their attention perhaps? Not saying I would do this, just wondering if this would tempt the Penguins.

For the Wild,

Koivu
Setoguchi
Gilbert
Granlund/Coyle
'13/'14 1st

Personally, I wouldn't do it, but as has been said many many times before, that's what it would take.

Im a Pens fan from the start, but if Pittsburgh were to trade Geno, Id personally ask for sumtin along the lines of either D.Backes, A.Pietangrlo, and C.Stewart or C.Perry and B.Ryan
