Brodin's injury looked more serious at first glance but he wouldn't be on the Wild roster if the lockout ended now anyways so his injury doesn't concern me as much. Looking forward to how much Scandella improves if the lockout ends soon. Granlund is the one I'd be missing should the lockout end.
yeah a broken colloarbone alone is nothing, about 6 or 7 weeks. hopefully theres no concussion. and for granlund I hope its not an ACL/MCL or anything like that. hopefully he is out just 2 or 3 months, didnt seto tweak his leg/knee up last year and it wasnt extremely bad?

2-3 months if it's nothing but a sprain?? a couple of weeks and he will be back.
but why aren't there any updates ?
Much rather have it be a break towards the top of the fibula than ANYTHING like a serious legimentous or cartilagenous injury. The former is barely vascularized, and the latter is NOT vascular- which is why cartilage does not regenerate. As you all know, bone is highly vascular and has an amazing turnover rate. (yes, I study these things in depth in grad school everday ). From the look of it though (landed with his foot inverted and under him) it looks like it could be entire lateral collateral ligament complex of the right fibular-talar articulation. Sprain or (partial) tear- no idea. That's what the MRI will tell them.
I already didn't like Hall, now I think he's a cheap-shot artist. That hit was atrocious, absolutely no way he should avoid a suspension for that.
Tweet from John Shannon of Sportsnet:
John Shannon Just got word from AHL,THall's match penalty has been rescinded. League viewed hit as shoulder to shoulder. He can play tonight vs Aeros
The plan for Hall coming off of injury going into the weekend was not to play back to back. So I do not think he will be in the game tonight anyway. Hope Brodin and Granlund have a speedy recovery.
