Darren Helm- Possible broken jaw after hit to the face
This may be a little late but Darren Helm took a puck to the face earlier today. 8-10 Stitches according to Cleary and possible Jaw fracture.

I wonder how many hundred years of the NHL it will take for players to wear masks?? At least in a high speed scrimmage situation, put the full shield on for crying out loud!
I'll tell ya it's the nature of the beast. Infinite strength and a tiny rubber puck being rocketed inside a rink, it's only a matter of time and someone gets nicked. Like a lot of thing in life, ice hockey is a gamble.
Hope you're all right Helmer. The guy who loves to play the most has to be sidelined again.
