You couldn't fly that "return route" so fast if you took a supersonic airplane. Sersen's return to his original club makes a lot of sense, especially if NHL resumes and Višňovský & Sekera leave.

waiver list to be correct. It does not have to mean "leaving", he can be just sent to VHL. Does Atlant have VHL affiliate?

If I wanted to release a player, I would terminte contract not put him on waivers

my boys redeemed themselves for the last gaem, Bryzgalov only allowed 1 goal (the other was allowed on a Pen. Shot and Proskuryakov was in goal)

It's really tough to follow CSKA for me. Whenever I have time to watch their game - it's not televised. Drives me nuts sometimes to find that out.

According to score sheet Kuznetsov played 25:47. Doubt it.

And Backstrom only gets 16 minutes.

Backstrom will probably get more ice time when he gets into game speed shape. These other guys have been playing at a high level for 3 months now, he's not just going to show up and get 20 minutes a game off the bat.
Some one should check this stat: Empty net points that Sergei Kostitsyn scores. He's collected a point on all of the last 5 Omsk empty netters (I think at least)...
