Great news it's just about a few weeks. His season is not in danger and especially his career. A big time injury at this part of his career would have been fatal.
So glad to hear that it wasn't a bad break or a ligament tear or something equally serious for Granlund. Hockey is better with guys like that healthy and playing, even when they're embarrassing Alex Plante who happens to play for your team.
Was playing well last night as well. Scored the first goal then generated the second one with a nice defensive play in the offensive zone and a nice assist.
Hes right up there with Horak and Baertschi
I think hell miss 8-12 games and if plays the rest of the season healthy im thinking something like 25-50 season from him

Agreed..I predicted 25-50 for him in another thread a few weeks back..He may score more goals than that though and 30-45 could be closer..
Wow missed the game last night and come here to find out or two most promising prospects get hurt and and hurt pretty bad in the same game vs a team I do not like especially after our game against them last week. Thats minnesota sports for you. Once you get something good going you get kicked in the groin. WHY
I just hope the guys make a full recovery and quickly
So once Brodin's collarbone is healed will it effect his game at all? More likely to break again etc?

Come on man you can't say that. Hall was doing what any player would have done.
Sure, some would have let up a bit, but Hall was doing what he should. Can't blame him for that.
What, direct hit aimed at head from behind at full speed is "what he should've done"? Then what differentiates Taylor Hall from Raffi Torres or Matt Cooke, other than draft position?

In my opinion? Absolutely nothing. It was an extremely harsh hit on vulnerable player, and resulted in a bad injury.
Seriously, like I needed more reasons to hate the Oilers...

Can't recall which Houston player it was, but during an interview, he mentioned OKC as being their rivals. They certainly don't like each other. If you dislike the Oilers now, just wait until all these kids are with their parent teams. In the NHL, rivalries are really born in the playoffs. But if they keep going down this road, there could be a strong foundation for one being built during this lockout in the minors. Of course we won't be in the same division with Edmonton for much longer, but sparks can still ignite.

Yeah, I like rivalries, but I really get the feel that the Oilers just physically beat us up, yet we win more often than not. That's not much of a rivalry, IMO. It's just annoying to see our guys get their ***** kicked and see the Oilers just offensively suck.
