Matt Gilroy scored the only shootout goal too! Typical since he's scored half his NHL goals on us.

Didn't watch the game but hard to complain when you outshoot the opposition 44-15. I'd like to see season shot totals for the Devils. Seems to me like they're generating chances but just can't convert. Hopefully the puck will start bouncing their way soon.

Didn't watch it. Only got the radio broadcast. The announcer did say Butler hit the post two different times during the OT, and both were on PP's. One started before regulation ended, and carried over into OT. Then Connecticut got penalized again in OT.

In the 5 round shootout Frazee stopped all but the first shooter Gilroy(Big surprise, Devils nets are a magnet for this otherwise offensively challenged player)

I'm not sure all who went for the Devils, but Henrique, and Josefson were stopped. Butler hit the post, someone else went, and Tedenby went wide which is pretty much what he did every time he was on a breakaway in the NHL last season. Can't rag on him cause he scored the only goal, and is the reason we got a point out of this game. Frazee gave the team a chance to win in the shootout.

Josefson's move in the shootout was really good, its great to see his offensive game exploding, but I think if he moved faster it would've fooled the goalie more

Not sure about Urbom. I just now watched the 90 second highlight video from last nights game since I only listened, and didn't see anything. A minute or two into the game someone on Albany hit the post, and the announcer thought it was in. It was on the cross bar it looked like, and possibly inside, but I guess it wasn't. Not sure who it was that hit it. Wiseman started the play though. Someone hit our post from Connecticut, but it didn't matter cause they scored seconds later on a nice 2 on 1 in the same shift.

I remember hearing someone else hit a post for Connecticut in 3rd, and I distintctly remember Albany hitting a post in the 3rd. I usually don't put much on post hits. After all sometimes the goaltender tracks the puck, and let's it hit the post, and even sometimes will stop it and direct it into the post to get rid of a rebound. 5 post hits for us though which a couple could have gone in, and just one goal on 45 shots kinda hurts though.

I'm hoping that Gelinas will be back soon. Don't want his development derailed.

That Sux! I'm driving up from NJ with the family for the game next Saturday. Great deal - Papa Johns family 4 pack. 4 tix, 4 Albany Devils hats, a large pizza, 2 ltr soda, and a cinnapie - all for $52!

I can spend $100 on a hotel and it's still reasonable for 4 people to go to a game...

Looks like it was their NHL guys vs a few of ours on that play. Henrique/Butler were on the ice, and so was Larsson. Don't know if it was a broken change or not, but Leach wasn't playing with Larsson.

I like the Butler signing especially for league minimum, and two way, but I think it's time to split him for Henrique. He's been doing a whole lot of nothing.

Shorthanded goal it was apparently. That explains Larsson, and no Jay.

Wow yeah, I forgot Urbom AND Gelinas were both out. Maybe that helps explain things with all the NHL talent on opposing forward lines.

This team is a mess tonight from what I'm gathering on the radio broadcast. The Devils spend most of the last PK in Adirondacks zone, and then in the last few seconds Adirondack somehow scores. Sounded like the Devils had more shots on Adirondacks PP, than Adirondack did, but Adirondack scores. This team lacks finish big time. I've already heard him say they were on different odd man rushes. Rinaldo also had a breakaway, but missed thank god.

Albany PP coming up. Rinaldo gets a charging penalty. Score a goal with this POS in this box!

No Devils shots on that PP. 0 for 2 tonight with a shorthanded goal allowed, and 0 for 7 last night.

Tedenby drew a cross checking penalty and nothing. Kinkaid came up big on another shorthanded save. Holmstrom for Adirondack closed his hand on the puck so another PP for Albany. 5th of the night. So if they don't score here that's 0 for the last 12 PP's. Maybe more, but that's just in the last two games alone.

3-0 Adirondack on a 5 on 3. Some kind of scuffle happened. Henrique got a roughing. The Phantoms goalie wanted to fight with Kinkaid according to the announcer, but nothing happened. Devils about to go on PP number 6 tonight. PP has been abysmal. I would say they're getting shutout. Maybe not because Albany is getting a 5 on 3 it looks like. I wouldn't count on them scoring.

Tedenby with the only goal for Albany in the last 180+ minutes now. 180+ minutes, and probably 100+ shots on goal I'd say. This team is pretty pathetic regardless of an AHL team or not. 0 for 14 on the PP last two games including the minute 40 second 5 on 3.

4-0 Adirondack with a few minutes left. Everyone but Frazee, Kinkaid, and Tedenby for scoring the only goal in almost 200 minutes should all walk home.

Corrente, and Mcpherson leading the pack for countless turnovers, and screw ups tonight, and Butler for botching two OT winners last night, and a chance to tie the shootout.

Certainly doesn't help the porousness of the defence. Presumably Gelinas and Urbom would both be playing at least middle pairing minutes if they were healthy.
