Thanks a lot! His hands, wrister, vision....just great....First assist, awesome move. Second assist, what a vision on 2 passes he made, and the goals showing his quick wrister. By the way, I'm a new Twitter friend as of today.
Great move on the first assist, great hands in close shown on the two goals too, but most importantly imo, great vision and awareness shown on the 2nd assist. That hard pass between the defender's legs right as he got the puck. Love to see that stuff. Vision makes a skilled player dominate with consistency.
If you do Rielly and Galchenyuk on a semi regular basis your following will probably go up tenfold.
Yea, I definitely focus on the big market teams' prospects + the 2013 eligibles. I had Rielly's highlight reel goal from last week up like a minute after it happened and had 20+ new followers and 5k views in an hour lol. Gotta love Toronto.
I'm not really into actively seeking just any kind of followers though. If you're interested in what I'm doing, then follow - not huge into numbers. I'd rather have real hockey fans who actually appreciate the effort.
Just made a quick video of this while watching the game because it's the kind of stuff that never shows up in highlight packs...check out the pass by Galchenyuk to get out of his own end (on the PK no less).

funny you post that. I was blown away, somewhat, by that pass. Blown away because OHLers dont do that. true NHLer's do. The kid is a stud. had a little arrogance to his game tonight but you can see why. He was five notches above anyone else tonight. best player on the ice without a doubt. it was an odd game. Everyone was terrible for Plymouth. Not one player was decent.
You guys got yourself a stud. best player in person in the OHL ive seen to date.
hey guys. got Galchenyuk highlights from tonight up for you:
if you wanna follow me on twitter (https://twitter.com/antontibaldi), i'll be doing these prospect videos (all teams) on a semi-consistent basis when prospects have big nights/score highlight reel goals/whatever. i'll have them up much faster than the official AHL/CHL sites (usually the night of or morning after).
All four are additions to his highlight reel. Glad to see he's getting his goal scoring back. But holy hell were those assists ever nice. The hands on that first assist, and the vision on the second assist is exactly what I want to see from him.

7-4 win for Sarnia! The most exciting game I've watched them play this year. Galchenyuk finished with 2 goals and 2 assists. He played on a line with Moore and Sarault.

What did you think about Galchenyuk's defensive game tonight? I thought it was pretty poor, myself. Seemed to do a lot of standing around and lazy stick-waving.
I know, I know...I'm going to be the guy criticizing our star prospect's D game after a 4-point night, but I just like to cover all the angles. Thought he could have been better in that regard is all. His offensive game was unreal tonight, so that's a trade-off I can easily live with.

wowow, the move on his first assist is magic. then those two up-close finishes...am I in love?
seriously, when's the last time we had a player with this skillset?
Kovalev! hahaha.
Obviously Kovalev wasn't consistent enough(one of the biggest shames ever) but when he was on he was truly dazzling.
The good thing with Galchenyuk is we finally should have the mix of Koivu and Kovalev in one player that we we're dying to have 5-8 years ago.
Call me a homer but I can't help but think he might have Malkin or even Forsberg like upside. Some of the stuff I've been seeing from him is just too unreal
What I really want to know is what prospect(s) had(has?) better hands than him at his age?
I watched the game last night and Gally was able to do whatever he wanted, as the oppposing D really struggled all night. What sick hands he has though.
