This has got to be one of the worst Milan teams in quite a while, no?

El Sharaawy is genuinely the only good thing about Milan this year.

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has been sentenced to four years in prison after being found guilty of tax fraud.

Reduced to 12 months. Typical italian justice.

Not perfectly familiar with the Italian judiciary system and the organisation of all of Berlusconi's companies, but it strikes odd to me that (one?) owner is sentenced like this.

Doesn't his companies have CEOs, CFOs and lawyers who make the operational decisions and are thus primarly responsible. Even if Berlusconi is chairman of the board and the majority owner of this company, is he really judged to be (solely) in charge of these decisions. Don't they have annual shareholders meetings?

Not that I consider Berlusconi to be a straight-up guy by any means, but this sentence just sounds odd to me. Interesting to see if it holds up in higher courts.

Whatever the outcome, probably won't do any good to Milan in their effort to get better on the sporting front.

Juve will, finally, lose a game.

Great job by Inter.

Aghhhh juve lose for the 1st time in 49 games.

But honestly we needed this loss. The team has been unimpressive for a while now.

Terrible penalty call though.

I'm not surpised. They still have good players. Last year they severly underachieved. The question now is what to do with Sneider.

I was initially too, but when you look at their team and think about it they've made some good additions. That Cassano swap favors Inter all day long (were Pazzini about 24 years old as I thought he was then maybe not) and Palacio is proven in Serie A. Handanovic is nice work too with Cesar gone. They've still got a ton of veterans and players who've been there for winning seasons in the past, including some defenders who have been around since the dawn of time. Still a watered down Serie A IMO too, so not so much a surprise. I'd say being this close to Juve is more of a surprise.

Inter have a super solid backline (Ranocchia and Juan Jesus) and the rest of the squad is composed of former Argentine internationals. Rodrigo Palacio is the PERFECT compliment to Milito and Cambiasso has been having an incredible year. All that said the coach is doing an excellent job.

I hadn't seen Juan Jesus very much before this season, but he has been very good so far.

If not already (it's been only a few months of play in Europe for him), he looks to become one the the top CB's (top 10) in the world within the next couple of years.
