Well, he has been coming on strong even before this weekend. Of course putting up sick numbers like that in 2 games is going to get you noticed, but he has been playing well all year from all accounts. Always nice to see him go nuclear though.

That line of Theoret-Strome-Ritchie is in beast mode right now.

Definitely slow coming out of the gates, but picking it up over the past 10 games or so now.

Great to see!

Now, will it continue?

Here's hoping he's the OHL's top offensive player for the remainder of the year. After all, he is the league's most seasoned top five pick.

Should be the Islanders #2 center next year.

For those who get to watch him regularly, are the reports that he's really improved his 2-way game true? He's always been known to be an offensive whiz, but it's the other parts of his game and physical maturity that Isles fans are curious about.

Any insight would be great.
Defensive game is still lacking a bit, but it has been improving. It continues to get better every game though. Offense is not a problem for him, he flourishes on the offensive side of the puck. Moving forward he just needs to stay more consistent on both sides of the puck. He definitely needs to get stronger, he won't have it as easy along the walls and behind the net in the next level in hockey.

Another 4 points tonight. Niagara was down by 4 goals in the third period and scored 4 straight in the last 6 minutes of the game. Strome picked up an assist on all 4 goals. He also scored in the shootout.

That gives him 29 points in 10 games in the month of November, and 50 points in 26 games in total. He's had 9 multi-point games this month, including two 5 point nights.

What an incredible run by Strome.

The kid is going supernova this month and pulling away from the pack in the scoring race. Indeed an impressive run. Isles fans are overjoyed with his development.

Just terrific!

This is the type of production he's capable of and should be bringing at this point.

It's wonderful seeing him show what he's made of this month.

Thanks for trashing him Chapin, you may have been the spark that ignited his play.

Strome is doing his best JT impression, absolutely carrying the offense. Almost 3/pts per game in November is bonkers.

Plus look at how good he's made Ritchie look. And what's remarkable is that he's making Theoret look like a solid prospect. It's clear that he's the type of player that makes his teammates better.

I wonder where Strome will rank in the Hockey News' future watch this winter. I believe he was eighth last year.

I would love to see him dominate the AHL next season with Nino and Kabanov on his wings.

Where do you guys see him slotting in on team Canada at the U-20? is he still eligible to play?

Yup, last year of eligibility, he will be on the team as long as no injuries.. most likely on first line unless they switch up centers and wings which could make him play on the second line but i doubt it.

I think it's pretty much a guarantee that Stome will be centering Brett Richie on his RW on one of the top 3 lines. Adding a strong, grinding LW to that combo and you have the makings of a strong 2 or 3rd line. The 1st line will be centered by RNH with probably Huberdeau. Although Huberdeau and Strome have demonstrated strong chemistry from last year's WJC.

Huberdeau-Strome-Ritchie would be a damn potent line that is also defensively responsible.

Absolutely, and is putting some space between him and the others. Though, it's only a small space.

Nino's ELC is almost $3M. His second contract can be significantly cheaper, right?

What an incredible streak he's on. Thirty points in 11 games is almost unheard of.

Strome is uber talented, makes crazy passes, fantastic shot.

What I find is often looked over is his tenacity/defensive game.

He is out there stick lifting, getting physical (when need be)... sure, that isn't what he is known for, but he brings a complete game to the table. No one can ever call him a 1 dimensional player because he brings it in all ends.
