The Ducks and Honda Center are teaming with the American Red Cross of Orange County to raise funds that assist relief efforts for victims of the massive storm that resulted from Hurricane Sandy, which caused major damage on the East Coast.
Monetary donations will be accepted at the arena all Thursday, beginning at 5 a.m. and ending at 6:30 p.m.
But they managed this

@icemancometh: Whatever their role is in this lockout, the Ducks helping raise $512,963.93 for Sandy relief efforts is quite commendable.
Wow. What a ******. I can't believe he'd take a shot at a team at the same time he just talked about the good they did for those people.
That was an OC Register article.
Lambert is still trash however. He just unloaded on teams he considers easy targets. Without fact checking. Or, it appears, getting a passing grade in high school English.
Edit - I actually meant to put that in the OT thread and opened the wrong window. Feel free to move it.
Nice of them to not have to play Oregon this year. Beating perennial powerhouse's Rice and Houston, and then losing to Cal have really signaled fucla's return to national prominence ....
Oh I am. I literally re-bought controllers and last minute pre-ordered the game all this morning after work. Other than replaying Tales of Vesperia a few months ago my 360 has been collecting dust for a few years

My ps3 is a blu-ray player - I can't stand the controllers, too small for my hands.

Someone's butthurt I'm not even a UCLA fan, but they did beat Arizona, which beat USC the week before. You've got to admit they're far better than the past few years.

But they also lost to Cal, in a game that wasn't very close, and USC did beat Cal....

Opposite for me. PS3 controllers are actually more comfortable for me than Xbox controllers. Xbox controllers seem a bit bulky and awkward for me. I like the slim, light feel of a ps3 controller.
