It is pretty much confirmed at this point, just fixating the minor details. Not surprising as him game is more suited for the OHL. As much as he was so sure he was headed to the NCAA, I kind of figured he would change his mind at some point.
My impression of Brendan Lemieux is that it would be a huge gamble to bring him in at this point. He doesn't seem to contribute much to Green Bay at 16 so why would Colts disrupt their good chemistry for him?
He is a selfish brat and if his dad wasn't connected with D.H you wouldn't be talking about him, This kid has no discipline at all and will disrupt the chemistry on this team for sure.

How do you figure he will disrupt the chemistry. He will be starting out with bottom 6 minutes on a first place team. Players understand the situation they are going into. I had the kid making the team before camp, it has nothing to do with his father. His style is more suited towards the OHL.
Really bad game in sudbury last night for the colts. Outshot 40-10 after 2 periods. Hopefully they rebound in the Sault tonight. And hopefully Schifelie is playing tonight because this is quite a different team without him in the lineup based on last night.
I would think a move has to happen. Does Lemieux move into the 2nd, 3rd or 4th line. Can't see him coming without some sort of confermation where he is playing.
I think the Colts would love to move Corson, but it's likely Brown that is the odd man out. As well, they will likely bring Lemieux along slowly. He'll likely see time on the fourth line. What happens when if this team gets Prokhorkin or makes a trade for a big forward. Who on the third line gets the boot so Fawcett can move down. I wish they would keep the line of Bradford, MacDonald and Bell together if they add another big forward.
There will be great joy in the hearts of some 16 yr olds currently in the OHL if Lemieux makes the Colts. He was probably the most hated kid in the GTHL and now the boys can drop the gloves and only worry about a 5 minute penalty.

You're bang on brother! Payback is a you know what.......
No-one said he is afraid to drop 'em. Good that he got the practice, he'll need it.
I personally know of a half dozen fights he had with his own team-mates when he played with the Marlies in Bantam after arriving from Arizona in December.

I know some of these 96 Marlie boys are hoping that he drops em.
