I wouldnt mind seeing some more actual potential line ups instead of guys who are AHL goons that are just in the system
Detroit would be:
Bertuzzi - Abdelkader - Tootoo
Smith - Ericcson
While not the toughest lineup in the thread they could handle themselves and would have a high chance of being on the ice because theyll all play over 10 mins a game
I'd be confident putting that group up against just about anybody.
These are match-ups I made if there was a line brawl off of the faceoff:
Keven Veilleux vs. Joe Thornton Draw/Narrow win Veilleux.
Steve MacIntyre vs. Adam Burish
Zach Sill vs. Ryane Clowe Draw/Narrow win Clowe.
Robert Bortuzzo vs. Brent Burns Narrow win Bortuzzo.
Deryk Engelland vs. Douglas Murray Clear win Engelland.

Too bad we got rid of Boris Valabik. If he stayed healthy he probably would have been re-signed. Brent Johnson would be great for the brawl too if he was still on the pens.
Uh...Veilleux and Sill are guys we have wanted in the NHL for a while. MacIntyre is pretty realistic.
Youre a guy who posts on the hockey fights board, of course you want those guys in the NHL but that doesnt mean its realistic to have them in a line brawl line up. The chances those guys play 2 games nexy season are slim

Liambas is 5'9 and while a solid pound for pound guy is nothing to write home about. I agree Sill is a tough guy for sure but Liambas is not a good measuring stick for that
unlike some of the AHL scrubs that a few posters are putting in their lineups, Lane MacDermid actually has played a few games in the NHL for the Bruins and has a good shot at being the 13th forward (if there is a season this year) because he can do more than just fight. so if he does make it our lineup could look like...
