It's actually a common thing with any country's president or prime-minister.

I think this is only true in some situations. I value my cat's life over a terrorist or rapists' life. When my cat dies I will be far more upset compared to when I hear about some random person I don't know dying. Not sure if that could be considered valuing her life over theirs. But yeah if it's a person I don't know vs. an animal I don't have any attachment to then I will value the person's life more unless I discover that the person is a terrible person.

Not everyone will agree, but that's how I feel.

Yup.

BUt people do get really attached to their critters.

Dogs, and Horses particularly.

One of our cats would make me sad if it died.

But if the doctor said either the cat or the wife can live, it's chicken chow meow for dinner.

Good point.

I'd kill Bin Laden, or some other worm, POS a 1000 times before hurting my wife's cats.

I get that. But in a situation where there's a human you don't know anything about and an animal you don't know. What happens?

Of course you wouldn't hurt your wife's cats, since that would directly lead to your own physical pain as well haha.

Mentioned that scenario at the end of the paragraph. I'd value the human's life more. I'd still feel bad for the animal though.

Pay attention.

It's real important.

You might want to record this.

Um..., what were we talking about?
