leave it. West is too competitive I think.

2:1 The Raptors make the playoffs before the Leafs do (this year doesn't count if there's no hockey)

Take it, the Raptors are trending upwards much faster than the Leafs.

Brian Campbell is selected as the captain of the Panthers over Stephen Weiss (5:1)

15:1 A rookie scores at a PPG pace or higher next season (shortened season or not)

Take it. With the amount of talent set to enter the league, I'll take those odds.

25:1 In 2013-14, a rookie wins the Calder AND another major award (Hart, Rocket Richard, Art Ross, Vezina, Norris, Selke, Conn Smyth, etc...)

You would seriously leave 20:1 odds on a competitive team winning the cup in any given year?? That's just terrible betting. If anyone had the chance to take the defending Presidents Trophy winner at 20:1 and declines they should not be allowed to bet with monopoly money. /Rant

Back on point...

Take it. Don't think any will (especially over an 82 game season) but it's happened 3 times since the lockout with a lot of guys coming reasonably close, and if there's a shortened season it favours a Rookie pulling it off (less likely that a player tails off at the end of the year)

Don Cherry is done after the 13-14 season (4:1)

Whoops beat to the punch...

I'll leave it. Good odds but but if a goalie or defenceman wins the Calder there's next to no chance they get the Norris or Vezina, too much talent there. Extreme outside chance if someone goes off they could get a Richard/Hart/AR but feel it would take more than +2500 for me.

As above... Don Cherry is done after the 13-14 season (4:1)

Leave it. Don Cherry is the face of Coach's Corner who attracts millions of viewers with his personality, suit design, and chemistry with Ron Maclean. If Cherry leaves, the number of viewers on Coach's Corner will decline drastically.

Montreal and Toronto both qualify for the playoffs (provided there is still some of a season) 15:1

Leave it. There's not enough room for both of them.

4:1 The next SCF will feature a Central team against an Atlantic team.

I'll leave it. Detroit and Nashville(who would have been my picks) both lost pretty good players, and I don't think Minny and St. Louis(their central right?) are ready.

This years Stanley Cup will feature two teams that have never won before. 20:1

Ill take that, there's a lot of teams that haven't won.

Joe Thornton doesn't resign with San Jose (8:1)

Hahaha, look where he is from. He's the type of person you are lucky to find to make bets with. Bets with his heart, never any logic. There are a lot of very stupid "passes" in regards to some of these odds but this guys is the dumbest.

Take it, Leafs will struggle early and will be desperate.

Islanders make the top 10 in the NHL in revenue by 2020 (10:1)

Leave it, they are moving into a tiny arena, ticket prices would have to be sky high, and no one pays top dollar to see the Islanders.

In the upcoming season, Crosby gets in a fight and wins, unanimously. 22:1

Leave it, unless its against Cammaleri or St. Louis, the if take it.

Joffrey Lupul plays 90% of the next full season, and goes a point per game while doing it. 15:1

Active or retired? if Active leave it, if retired take it. I think he would get too much grief in the locker room and amongst some of his peers to come out during their playing career. Macho sport and all.

5:1 One of the Oilers young players (Hall, Eberle, RNH, Yakupov) breaks the 82 point bearer in the next full season.

Leave it. Good as they are, I think they still have some growing to do.

Gonna go out there a bit with this one

50:1 - The next SCF will be a team from California vs a team from Florida.

At 50:1 odds Ill take it, but I doubt it happens.

Both Staal's on the Hurricanes get invited to the All-Star game (15:1)

I'll take it. Both are very talented players who will be playing with a good surrounding team. I don't think it's a reach to say they will both hit 70+ points.

The Stanley Cup Final comes down to 2 Canadian teams. (30:1)

Leave it, even at those odds. Of the 4 east teams, none of them have the capacity to make a run.

Teemu Selanne plays in 2013/2014 - regardless of the labour situation this year. 5:1
