Thank you for the rosters. Was having trouble finding those. Will be in attendance, look forward to this. Shame Sweden is not sending an A roster but I guess some teams were hesitant about letting their players miss their pro games.

Sweden is almost sending an A roster. Basically everyone is there except Burakovsky and De La Rose. Defenceman Amil Krupic is not there either, not sure why.
Only two 96-borns in Finland's rooster. Kapanen and Kiviranta and both haven't showed much at least on stats in A-juniors. I presume 96-group is not very tallented eventhough they won the youth-olympics.

True. Those are the main two that I meant. I did just realize the U-20 is going on at the same time and Burakovsky and De La Rose will be there so that explains that. No clue on why Krupic won't be there.
A bit too early to say in November I think, a lot of these guys have had a limited showing.
An interesting fact is that all but two of the -95 borns are 2013 eligible. Compared to the -94 group that has a lot of late birthdays like E.Lindholm, Sorensen, Arnesson, Wennberg and Possler yet to be drafted.
There are a few guys worth watching anyway. The -96 guys are very promising but I'd keep an eye on Crus-Rydberg, Wallmark and Fyrpihl.
Finland missing Barkov, Ikonen, Lehkonen who are playing with U 20 team... but how about Team USA compared to the team in Ivan Hlinka tournament ?
Almost a completely different team for the US as only 3 players from the Ivan Hlinka tournament are on this team. That's by design though as this tournament is the first tournament of the year for the NTDP U18 team. There are a few guys that would certainly strengthen the squad, especially Adam Erne, but overall this team is certainly stronger than the Hlinka team.

USA usually dominates this tournament, I guess that's the plan this year too. But Sweden is much better this year. Last year they played in the WJAC at the same time, where they sent the best team. This year they only got this tournament, so I'm really looking forward to the USA-Sweden game(s).
So all the top prospect for next summers draft going to play in U20 4 nations at sundsvall?
For the finns, I think so. Robert Hägg is the only highly ranked swedish prospect in Ann Arbor, Lucas Wallmark who is ranked fairly high is also there.

Yes, it's been the case for a number of years now that both the Swedes and the Finns haven't always brought their best teams to this tournament and that's certainly a part of why the US has won it for at least the past five or so years straight. I'm glad to see the other teams making it a priority this year and I hope it continues that way going forward.
Just saw that US forward JT Compher, while listed on the roster, is still recovering from an injury and won't be able to play in the tournament. That's a real loss as he's probably the top forward on the US team.

Westlund is a B-ranked prospect by the CSS. Finland has Joose Antonen, also B-ranked playing.
Team Finland is missing Barkov, Ikonen & Lehkonen. Otherwise they seem to have their best -95 roster with b & mostly c ranked players.
Ya good teams here for sure. Only the cream of the crop is missing. It's just that the guys going to the U20 tournament instead are by far the most well-known names.
