Highlights of Grigorenko's work vs the Q tonight. Best player on the ice besides Vasilevski in my opinion: http://youtu.be/-V5CQBgV6pM

Beauty of a game from Grigs. Showed all the reasons he should've been a top 5 pick: insane vision and passing, and a pretty dang good shot that he's willing to use as well. I also thought he played a pretty solid defensive game. Had a few nice pass breakups and had no problem stepping up and taking the man in front of the net if a d-man wandered to battle for the puck along the boards.
Side note: Vasilevsky is a really, really good goalie.
Hey given a) his 2ppg he's been averaging over this season and b) Roy has been forced to rotate nights off because of the 3 Euros on his roster is Grigorenko likely to make the Sabres roster come (if/when) the seasons start.
His conditioning seamed to be the biggest issue an I'm more than happy letting him build up in the Q. However I know he's been sat once already as part of the Euro rotation and I'm not sure how comfortable the Sabres or Quebec is in letting that continue.

I would rather him get Tyler Seguin treatment than play in the QMJHL. It would really benefit him from practicing and being around professional players. I also think that he is bored in juniors. If the season starts in December you could have him play in the NHL then loan him to the world juniors aswell.
