if possible, I'd trade someone like Urbom for Tikhonov and a 3rd in a heartbeat. The Devils defensive prospect pool is so stacked. We must trade value for value, and losing another draft pick is really not something the Devils could afford to.

You're obviously not thinking about what the Coyotes would want/need because their defensive prospect pool is absolutely stacked as well. Arguably one of the league's best.

Coyotes would prefer a pick to another defensive prospect.

I forgot the Devils don't have their third next year. The suggestion of a third and Tikhonov for a second works for me.

I know you're defensive pool is pretty deep, that's why I used the term "IF POSSIBLE" at the beginning of my post... Nonetheless, I had to state what would've been the better option for the Devils, that's all.
