I agree with both these statements. However I believe it is somewhere around 75% predetermined and 25% what happened the season before. Mathieu Perreault was a 74 then went to 83, crazy jump. He did all this despite being a healthy scratch for more than half the season and not playing higher than my 2nd line in the 30 some games he played. Orlov stayed at a 77 despite being in my top 4 and logging some big minutes and putting up some decent points. All this makes me think it is mostly predetermined.
Exactly! Just like how hunter shinkaruk went from a 60 to an 89 after the 13/14 season.. Helps that he was healthy all season, played on the top line, and got 110 points!.... Haha

What time are you doing the sim so that we can start playing? Is it gonna be a 9pm start or maybe earlier?
Minny we have a home and home to start, if you want to play sometime tonight let me know. Ottawa is the other game on my schedule as well if you want to play just send a message. I'll be playing some games on my pc probably, but will stay online on live and check back every 10 mins or so.
I am simming the first week of the season. Since there isn't a lot of us left, would everyone be alright with simming every night at 10pm Mtn. or should I just stick to what I had planned originally. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday?

Every second night would be preferential. Less pressure to get online every single night.

I'm down with that. I like to play my games in the morning anyways. So no issue here. Plus we can get through a season a lot quicker.
Tuomo Ruutuis on the block, let me know if there is any interest. Also I have an extra goalie with Nabokov, please let me know if you need him, hes signed at 2 million for 2 years.
Ok no idea what happened but it says I gave Anaheim a 2nd round pick as compensation but I don't know what I got from him.....can anyone figure it out?
So during the sim my cpu sent down Bogosian so nobody please claim him
Hate to say it, but I already did.
Is there any way we can change this? Its true, the cpu does make stupid moves for no reason. For me it sent down Gormley for no reason (not that it mattered as he is waiver exempt) but I want to play him and it is still frustrating when you have to do roster moves and edit lines for 10 minutes after every sim.

My thoughts on this is that, part of being a gm is roster management. I've been very mindful of it since the first few sims and I got robbed of players. I personally think that if a player hits the wire he's fare game. The whole purpose of being a GM is the whole sum of being a gm, not just playing the games.
If not then let me know cause then I can call up and waive players as I see fit and all I have to do is post and tell people not to claim them.
