Only thing I don't like so far is Arrow's cheesy voice overs. Those need work.

On Deathstroke:

Spoil:
They've already said they're working towards Deathstroke, and that he's a bigger part of the picture

Also, Deadshot next week.

I started watching the pilot last night (what can I say, I've got a DVR backlog) and .. ugh. Not one character shows the tiniest bit of depth. I felt like I was watching a paint-by-numbers script. "Ok here's the scene where he tells his sister how much he missed her. Here's where his best bud wants to go party with him. Here's where the sister of the dead girl tells him off. Here's our villain acting very villainous. Here's where bad guys come get him." The acting performances felt pretty stiff all around, like everyone was phoning it in, not expecting this to get picked up.

Not sure I'll get back to this.

Oh well, I tried.

I liked the pilot.

It was better than the Revolution pilot, and I'm still watching that for some reason.

As far as a Batman clone goes, I think it was quite serviceable.

Consider that they show comic book panels at times during the show, so it's not meant to be taken as a serious drama.

The climax action sequence reminded me alot of Batman kidnapping the Hong Kong financier in Dark Knight (while partying on his sailing yacht), but I imagine it will be pretty hard to avoid some obvious parallels.

Seemed fine, except the actor playing main character is really horrible..

I think the best part about this show is the villains not the lead character. It's why DC > Marvel in my mind they have the best villains.

The detective and the 'best friend' are really bad actors.

I'm enjoying this so far. I just wish they would stop wasting so much time on the whole love-triangle thing. We get it, but no doubt the same routine will be repeated next week.

Spoil:
Glad that they haven't wasted time in letting the Diggle find out his identity. Also noticed that Deadshot killed his brother...

Stephen Amell is obviously a handsome guy, but geez he's a horrible actor.

Having watched all 4 episodes so far, it's a decent replacement for Smallville. The acting and dialogue is really bad at times but the fact that Green arrow isn't afraid to kill is a bonus (although I think that's going to change). The whole bit about the mother being behind the yacht sinking while trying to act all motherly was a bit ridiculous, topped off by seeing her associated with Captain Jack. How big is Starling City to have so many crooked business men? The stepfather Walter being a good guy was a pleasant surprise, usually that's not the case. Like the IT girl at Queen Co. as well. Diggle's actor's doing his job better than Stephen Amell so far.

Nice to see Deathstroke, but would much prefer if his mask was orange.

Yeah I guess they're trying to keep the show pretty grounded like Nolan's batman(even though he's running around in a bright green outfit lol)

The yellowish colour or whatever it is, just isn't doing it for me.

Last episode was terrible. Noticed it was different writers than the first 3 though.

This Deathstroke looks a lot better than the one from Smallville though.

I'm still expecting Captain Jack Harkness to start smooching with his male employees/subordinates at some point. Suffice to say I'm having trouble buying him as a bad guy.

Best episode so far last night, my only complaints are that Ammel (improving though I think), the lady playing Laurel, and the lady playing his sister (especially her) need to improve their acting skills asap.

Clearly the best episode of the show last night.
I like the fact that it improves in every episode.
