Vatanen seems to be playing with some kind of an injury. His movement is by far the slowest of the game and he goes for a change after only few seconds on the ice. Holland has been impressive so far in the game.

Well Vatanen did have a bad season ending leg injury last spring (and the season before that too), maybe that's still haunting him?
That's something we probably wouldn't hear about until later. Based on the way he has played so far this season though, a year in the AHL would do Vatanen good, because I really wouldn't feel comfortable with him in the NHL playing the way he is.
Right now, I'll actually prefer Lindholm over Vatanen in NHL. He looks so damn composed - all the time. And he makes really fast (and good) decisions with and without the puck. Astonishing features to see from such a young lad.

Ditto. I might be letting my enthusiasm for Lindholm get the better of me, but right now he just seems a better fit at the NHL level in almost every way(save offense). Vatanen's weaknesses are only going to be more prominent at the NHL level, and right now there just isn't enough inbetween his strengths and his weaknesses to keep him afloat when he isn't doing well offensively. Just my take.
