The world would be such a peaceful place if we all drafted a kid like Yakupov every year

Well if you want my perspective, Yakupov is an Oiler and Hudon is a Hab. At one time Quebec almost became a separate country as well.... just sayin. No offence to anyone who is French.

As for defending him, yeah ill agree but I was also trying to define an uniformed viewer of what the true ruling by definition is.

Go Ru, I mean Yakupov!

Not a big fan of the Q either. No when its the Western league my impressions and opinions might Change a bit. But I'll still the support the Ruskis, I mean Yakupov.

That's gonna be a tough one considering the Swedes we have in the system.

Not sure if they are wearing the, in the Q but my guess is if they are they're only for the month of Movember. Hence the big duster on the front.

That's not just Yakupov that's Team Russia. They don't dump and chase they want to gain the zone with speed. If they don't feel like they're able to do that they reset in the defensive zone.

Hahah anyone see Craig Button's latest tweet. Talking about Mackinnon and how he's one of the best centers in Canada, not just as a draft prospect. I mean yeah he might be in a few years but he's not even close at his age to being one of the best in the country.

I don't see why that's so far fetched, he's been incredible this year.

Gotta give credit to the QMJHL for containing Yakupov. They were in his face all night and gave him no room at all.

MacKinnon was a force and a beast on his skates tonight. Made smart strong plays all night. The guy is built like a man out there. Looked great on the draw as well. Even stood up for Hudon by tossing Mironov to the ice with ease. Made a wicked power move to draw call in the 3rd. This kid looks like the real deal. Definitely the top center or forward prospect in the world right now. No other current non NHL u-20 looks as advanced as him that I'm aware of right now.

Would love to see Yakupov get head-manned on a breakout pass just for once. Instead of him being the one always inititiating the breakout. Kasputin showed no peripheral tonight with him. Game was a write-off for Yakupov all-around.

Welcome to the frustrations of a Sting fan watching him for 2 seasons

Will be interesting to watch the world juniors and see him and Jones go head to head. He looks like a #1 overall pick thats for sure. I am interested to watch Monohan tomorrow, seems like he is getting underrated. HE has put up near identical numbers to Mackinnon, he of course is nearly a year older, but still. I think he will be a very good #3 pick to who ever gets him.

I agree. Every time he touched the puck, something was going to happen. Reminded me of Eberle in Kesler's body.

This is true. More importantly Grigorenko was horrible. He made Yaks new linemate Khoklachev look good this week.
