Got a little mixed up here.. let's get back on track.
Sell: Letang will be good, but Chara, Weber, and OEL/Doughty will be the finalists.
Buy/Sell: Dan Bylsma will be fired if the Pens do not make it to the playoffs or passed the first round?
Back on track? You mean me? What are you now trying to wield your Global Mod powers to intimidate me or something? I'm reporting you to OSHA; I feel my safety has been threatened in teh "workplace".
Buy: I know Shero likes Disco and the Disco philosophy of team building, however all coaches get the axe when it becomes obvious they can't adapt / continue losing at key times. If Shero allows him to stay, he's endangering his own job IMO when otherwise he'd be safe from losing it by hiring another coach. Whether he promotes from within again I have no idea. A more interesting question is, if Disco goes, will his entire crew (Granato, etc) go too?
Buy or sell: Jordan Staal gets a standing ovation in his first game back at the Consol
I hope he gets a huge ovation first time back, he was a huge part on this squad for many years, including the cup winning year. He deserves it, and you can't blame him for wanting a top role on a side with his brother. It's not like he just cut and run for the $$$$
Buy/sell: tangradi impresses at camp and stays up for the full season

Buy: Hey I'll be positive...why not?
Buy/Sell: Malkin surpasses Crosby in goals and points this season (if we have a shortened one??)

No I meant 2 questions were asked instead of one w/ an answer.
Buy/Sell: Orpik brings lots of Free Candy for the opposition next season.
Buy. He's had plenty of time to finally heal up and strengthen up from all his abdominal problems, and rest up as far as wheels, etc. He's going to re-assert himself knowing he's got potential for one more big contract in his career and that's it. I expect the team as a whole to come out with a fire lit under their bums.
Buy or Sell: Tandgradi will score 25-30 pts in the shortened season (splitting his time on lines 2 and 3), finally flashing some skills.
Sell: My bet is Sutter for first SHG, buy it all depends on how the special team units end up.
Buy or Sell: Orpik will resign here (if not traded) and accept a lower lineup role with the team. 2nd or 3rd pairing. One more contract could make him a career Penguin.

Buy i see Orpik as a mentor. Mainly to Dumoulin.
Buy or Sell: James Neal scores 25-30 goals in 60 games?
Buy/ Sell... Feds would have been a nice 3rd wheel with Malkin and Neal.
Sell. Serviceable at best. Feds is a glorified grinder nothing more. Kunitz is actually the perfect skill level for a 2LW, either in the case the Geno line gets bumped down or in the case that he stays with Sid and Sid gets bumped down. What we actually need is a 1LW skill-wise as it's something we've always lacked.
Kunitz - 2LW
Dupers - 3LW
Cooke - 3LW
Neal - 1RW
Tangradi - 2/3 RW
Kennedy - 3 RW
We need someone who is a legit 1LW. Parise would've been that. A guy like Michalek or Brown would be that (even though they all play a different style they all have that level of skill and awareness). We need to take a couple of these nice D assets (1 NHL ready, 1 high end prospect), and, just as one of our assistant coaches said this past summer... move them for an asset where we have less depth. Or in the case of 1LW, no depth.
EDM might in fact be the perfect partner. If we're willing to give up a bit more, we could get a great player from them. Package something like Despres, Niskanen and a 2nd and we might conceivably have a shot at Eberle. Now that they have Hall, RNH, Yakupov, Eberle is probably the most tradable of those top line talents and D depth is something they lack. They have to know that sooner or later all those guys will need a big contract and they won't be able to keep them all. That or you could go for Hemsky at a lower cost. Niskanen and the 2nd should do it. Never been a fan of Hemsky but there's no denying he'd be an upgrade and we wouldn't have to sacrifice any highly important players to get him most likely.

Don't think that even comes close to getting Eberle. As much as I would love Eberle on this team, I honestly don't see them moving him for anything other than Letang. Maybe a Orpik and Morrow+ package. Also, I could see them being interested if Sutter would be included but I don't think the Pens would interested in that (though maybe if Lander was coming back the other way).
