Hockey Canada needs to stop with the "best players available" method... it's not working any more.
They need to start looking to bring chemistry. In such a short tournament, if they can go in with chemistry it will serve better.
I'd rather them take Nate and Jo where you know they have instant chemistry (as well as Nate playing center) and pair them with a high end winger than take 2 guys (who are just as talented in their own right) that have never played together before and hope they can create some chemistry together.

This is what HC is notorious for not doing. They love to take "role players" and mature 19 yr olds rather than just taking the best talent available. I fully expect Canada to take 2 checking lines, leave Drouin at home and bring MacKinnon as the 13th forward with limited ice. It's how they roll.

If we don't come back will a gold, things will change at HC..

I'll be devil's advocate here, but I think with talented players like MacKinnon and Drouin, they can find chemistry with just about anyone and very quickly too. Look at how Huberdeau and MacKinnon clicked in Game #2 of the Super Series.

You don't believe MacKinnon felt more comfortable out there with a teammate he knows inside and out?
