I hate throw-ins into the box. They're the most useless play in soccer.

What's this Aggregate goal thing in MLS? Never quite understood it even after roommate (He's a Galaxy fan btw) explained it to me.

You play two games, and combine the score from both games.
Whichever team is ahead wins.
1-0 SJ
3-1 LA
= 3-2 LA Wins.

Sharks would've lost to the Red Wings in 10-11.

It makes sense when you pair it with the tradition of it's existence.
Basically, a 3 round playoff of 3 game series is a little long for a 34 game season where teams usually only place once a week, but single elimination is a little harsh. Two games is perfect, giving each team a home game. But there's no way to do a 2 game playoff except for aggregate.

Last night I recorded the Warrior game because I went to see Skyfall, thinking it would be a great game and we've got storylines with Mike Brown being fired in the morning. Boy was I wrong. This was one of the more crap basketball games I've seen in a long long time, as both teams sucked shooting all night long. I didn't even see the 4th quarter because the Warriors weren't going to fix that shooting woos they had. When you're shooting below 40% and you're just jacking up 3s that miss really bad, that's just a terrible night. I think the only highlight of the game was seeing Andris Biedrens air-ball a free throw, which is something I've never seen before from anyone.

San Jose St. is a damn good football team. They could be 9-1 this year if they didn't blow the Stanford opener. Their only other loss is to an equally as good Utah State team.

Screw the flounders and their fat, big-mouthed coach.
I wish they both would lose.

It looks like either the ball weighed 200 pounds or it went flat the second it left his hands.
