Yahoo leagues are now open and I've renewed my two yearly leagues:
HF Oiler Rumble - our yearly HF keeper league already needs at least one new manager and likely a couple more. Returning managers - Yahoo has thankfully implemented an option where you go select your own keepers. We'll up it to 10 this year as was requested last year and any other suggestions can be brought up here or to me privately. I'd be open to making it a pay league again but only if all returning managers are too (last year wasn't even close).
If you are interested in a competitive H2H keeper league that is on its SIXTH year now, please PM me. We want only serious managers who will stay on top of their roster all year long and will stick around in years to come.
HF Oilers #2 - my points league. All managers from last year have received invites. I'll leave it closed for a week or so to give those people time to sign up then I'll post the info here for new hires.
I'll likely create another league or two as well, unless they start popping up from others.

Ok so I know hockey won't be underway anytime soon but we still need to get things organized for my two leagues, specifically the keeper league.
I've now opened up HF Oilers #2, the points league, to the public. 14 spots are available.

For HF Oiler Rumble, we have three managers yet to re-join or confirm to me they're out this year - Cerebral, BigNic, and T-Hallday. We also have two spots on top of that. I'll deal with this soon but I want to try to get managers set, keepers chosen, and the new managers' keeper draft done by the time the season was supposed to start. The draft, right now, can't be set for a date later than the 10th but we'll push that back once the lockout is in effect and Yahoo decides how to deal with it.
This year will be a ****** fantasy year because training camp won't be able to guide us but let's make the best of it.
Not to get overly optimistic, but I'm going to start putting things into motion for my two leagues.

Simple, non H2H, straight up points league. 20 teams max, in its fourth year. Draft tentatively set for Nov 28 just to hold a draft time spot. Registration is open to the public and can be done here:
As for the guys in the HF Oiler Rumble keeper league, I'm just locking down our last two managers. I'll get them to do their dispersal draft sooner than later and you will have to go manually input your keepers. I've tentatively set the keeper declaration date to Nov 27 and the draft to Nov 29.

I'm enjoying NOT regretting picking Fabien Brunner as my 29th overall pick in my keeper leagues entry draft in September. Rules for drafting was that we could take any NHL-signed or drafted player that's not currently on one of our leagues teams. Not restricted to just 2012 entry draft players
I would appreciate if it not be moved any later than this. I will be in Mexico for two weeks from the 9th to 23rd and unable to participate in an on-line draft.

Some ****** backed out last minute so now I need a replacement in the HF Oiler Rumble keeper league. This is a competitive league and I ask that if you sign up, you stick with it and show up for the draft. We keep 10 players this year; that number is set to rise in future years.

Normally we do a dispersal draft for new managers but since it's so late and I've already struggled to take care of the dispersal for the other two new ones, here is the team you will be inheriting and choosing your 10 keeper players from. It's actually pretty stacked; this guy finished second last year.
