Can anyone tell me where the "sliders" are that everyone talks about? I've seen posts about being able to adjust sliders for everything from faceoffs to checking ability but I can only find the normal ones (difficulty, period length, gameplay etc).
I just played at the Blue Allstar team vs. the Blue Jackets (AI) on rookie mode and lost 2-1. I mean, literally every AI Player on the Jackets intercepted passes, were difficult to knock off the puck, defended incredibly well, and scored silly goals. While, my Blue Allstar AI's were about exactly the opposite, I just don't get it.
How does the game compare to NHL 12? Is it worse? I didn't enjoy the demo, seemed way clunkier than 12.
I'm debating if I should cave and buy NHL 13 or get NBA 2k13 instead.
I prefer it to NHL 12. It's still flawed in many of the same areas, but on the plus side the AI is usually smarter and you can score a better variety of goals nowadays.
I came in here to see if any of you Blackhawks fans want to take control of Chicago in a semi-simulation style gmconnected game. My friends and I have a small league going and are halfway through season 1.
I don't want to come across as spamming a site or anything so just PM me if you're interested.
I've improved quiet a bit. Just finished my 1st regular season of Be A GM, and clinched the division and 1 seed over the last 2 days of the season, sweeping the Blues in a home and home. Won 9 of 10 to close out the year.
Still don't like NHL13 as much as NHL12. I miss ridiculous puck control, combined with lots of spinning, then firing a perfect pass cross-ice/crease to a one-timer that scored almost without fail.
The computer Dmen always gets a piece of passes when you have 2-on-1's or 3-on-2's, no matter how high your passing is or the player's passing you're playing as is. Not to mention, they nerfed saucer passes a couple years ago so that's not as effective at getting passes through the computer D.
