Held on in one of my fantasy matchups. I was up 75 points going into tonight and my opponent had Garrett Hartley. Thankfully he fell just short of nailing 15 50+ yard field goals, so I managed to squeeze by with a 72 point victory.

Of course I lost in the HF League. That was to be expected.

Is it time for what? The Jets to find a good QB? They certainly don't have one on the roster...

Ha.

But no seriously, I'd think they'd give Tebow a shot with Sanchez being absolutely disgusting to watch even for a non-Jet fan like myself.

Tebow rumours are constant, no matter what is happening. There are several rumours he might be traded, and several other rumours that hold that he's going to start in place of Sanchez. It gets comical.

The trade deadline passed last week, and Tebow isn't going anywhere as long as the Jets get attention since the back page is Woody's primary concern.

Ya, the trade rumours will start back up in the offseason for sure, but you're probably right. As long as he remains a lightning rod for controversy they'll hang onto him.

Brining in Tebow is going to cost either Sanchez or Rex Ryan his job. No doubt in my mind.

LOL Tebow. I thought Denver was dumb for dumping him for Manning cause I legit though Manning was done. In the games I've seen though he's been pretty good.

I still think Tebow could be a starting quarterback somewhere. Even if it's a chump team that sucks. I thought the Jets were dumb for trading for him. There was no reason. I'm not a big football guy though. More of a casual guy. Watch it at my buddy's house on Sunday's, and have turned on a few games to try to make up for the lockout.

Peyton could win the MVP this year if he keeps it up.

Tebow could be the starting QB of a few teams. Jets are one of them.

Sanchez throws the ball better than Tebow, but Tebow's ability to run and prolong drives and keep his defense resting on the sidelines is what makes him a better player.

The only throw Sanchez can throw consistently well is the deep ball on the left sideline. That's it. He is a terrible excuse for a starting QB. I don't know how many more chances the Jets are going to give him.

The Jets couldn't utilize Tebow any worse than they have the first half of this season. Pretty amusing that he has thrown the best single pass of the Jets season and it was dropped.

Why did the Jets even trade for Tebow? I didn't follow the Jets much last year, but was Sanchez really bad last year or something that they could have QB controversy? I would imagine if he hasn't been given the hook yet this season, then he couldn't have been as bad last year.

There's no logical reasoning behind bringing in Tebow.

Some Jet fans say it was done to light a fire under Sanchez and motivate him. Really it's just making him insecure.

Personally I think Rex Ryan was behind it. That guy loves being in the spot light. Tebow gets you that spot light.

R. Mathis scratched from the Colts lineup with a back injury.

Weren't you the one arguing against people praising RGIII using his rushing ability to get first downs? How is Tebow different?

Because I'm not calling Tebow a great QB. I'm just saying he's a better option that Sanchez right now.

Also, I never bashed Griffin's ability to run. What I said was that once teams start to take his rushing ability away his game is going to level off. Earlier this year, he was overachieving because teams didn't know what to do with him. I mean, you can already see his stats tailing off the last two games as teams get more looks at him. His completion%, passing yards, QB rating, and yards per carry are all down the last two weeks. He hasn't run for a TD in 3 weeks and he only has 1 passing TD in the last two. Plus the Redskins have dropped 3 straight. Granted 2-3 games is a very small sample size but I think the trend will continue for the rest of the season based on years of watching defenses adjust to rookie QBs.

Not to mention, Tebow can take the hits because of his frame and he's not a franchise QB. If Griffin continues to run the way he does, he's going to have an injury plagued career and the Redskins will be very disappointed.

So the Colts are 6-3. I'm pretty surprised. Even though I do not think they're that great of a team, it's a great story line with their coach and all. Luck's quickly becoming a stud too, it's hard not to like the guy.

Luck has skills. Imagine what he will do after a few years and a fully stocked team... great bid for rookie of the year.

Aside from Reggie Wayne, Luck has pretty much nothing around him. The RB situation stinks, the O-line is mediocre at best, starting TE and #2WR are injured, rest of the WR's are just burners. The defense is crap too. Mathis and Davis are hurt, Freeney has been non-existent, and Bethea has been less than stellar. The fact that they are 6-3 shows how great of a QB Luck already is.

Luck has definitely been impressive. Despite having to step straight into Peyton's shoes, he's done well.
