I don't know, doing an exact replica of the first penalty kick was perhaps not the smartest thing.

Mind trick things
I would of went the same way as well. I just feel like the goalie would be thinking, he will go the other way. Only mistake he made was the stutter. Cooper did the EXACT same thing. If he just stepped up and shot, I would go back to the right. If stutter, go left. Since the goalie already saw that everytime he stutters, he goes right

I meant including the stutter. Because once the stutter arrived, the rest is not that hard to guess.

Thats why if I did the stutter, I would change direction. If he just stepped up normally, I would go right

Normally people don't really have that variation of repertoire under that kind of pressure. It was clearly a set play he had.

I figured that was why. Thats why I always argue to those that say penalties are easy or luck.
Luck may have a part, but you need composure and it is not easy to finish top corner everytime

To take that freekick away from Henry was maybe the stupidest single decision I have ever seen in a soccer game.

Feels like I watched a Devils first round exit.
Why? Just why would Miller be taking that kick? Henry was expected to take that for a reason, because he can make that shot.

For anyone seeking some better feeling the Devils Rangers game is playing on MSG where Devils will win in a shootout.

He looked in shock though. I wonder if it was his idea.

PKs are like a crazy important game of rock paper scissors. Entirely mind games.

Yeah well, nobody really prepares for mind games which include re-shooting the penalty kick.

I'm more upset with Marquez than with Henry not taking the late free kick. Red Bulls are up a man, he has a yellow, and he makes his second(his first after the initial card wasn't carded) reckless challenge and it's on the attacking side of the field. That's madness.
