We'll see a legitimate hockey dynasty emerge in the next 20years
50:1
Leaving it. Not with free agency rules changing and owners/players arguing over cap numbers. Teams will be "forced" to clean up their roster and dump players some time during a 20 year run.
10:1 a new trophy/award will be created during this CBA

Leave it. I want to take it, I really do. Next few years fo' sho'.
If this is a whole 82 game season, I'll leave it. I'm gonna say 66GP-7G-27A-34P with a -6
70:1 a forward from the FHL, SPHL, or single A equivalent will make his NHL debut by 2013-14 (note: this player will not be an enforcer or a goalie)
Without knowing much about those leagues ill leave it. Has that ever happened before?
Next bet: before the end of his career Ilya bryzgalov will have another sound bite or interview that will garner more than 300,000 views on YouTube (for reference his famous "why you heff to be med" interview is at 470K views.

Odds: 2-1
I'd take it, bet everything I own then spend the next month watching and refreshing a short Youtube clip of his.
There will be another Lockout/Strike at the conclusion of the next CBA (2:1)
Only answering this cause Bure is my favourite player lol
Even with odds I'd leave it, think he'll be retired as #10 (Probably should take the odds but heart over head)

Backstrom scores over 100 points(or 100 point pace over 82 games) in his next season back. 4:1
I'll take that for sure. With a 100 point pace thrown in it all but eliminates any kind of injury factor (ie he scores 2 points in his first game and then blows an ACL you still win)
Any HHOF class in the next 10 years DOESN'T have the maximum number of players inducted (4:1)
EDIT: Max of 4 players can be inducted in every class, in case there was any confusion.

betting the house on it. 2010 only had Ciccerelli, 2006 had Patrick Roy and Dick Duff, 2005 had Neely and Kharlamov. That's 3 classes in 7 years.
8:1 there will be at least one game called off due to inadequate ice/arena conditions (poor ice quality, bad lighting, fog, etc.) by the end of the 2013-14 season.

Leave it. Not sure if it's ever happened, don't know why it would in the next 2 years. Games have been postponed but never called off/canceled.
Let's go TMZ for this one... Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood will not be married in 2020 (3:2)

called off = postponed. I had the fog game from Boston from 87 or 88 in mind (drawing a blank on the year), which eventually ended up being called off/postponed. Granted this was a different league, but I've seen numerous ECHL games called off because of gouges in the ice from playing back to back games.
but back on topic, will Fisher/Underwood NOT be married? Yeah, I'll take that bet. High profile marriages aren't exactly known for lasting in most cases, but I wish them the best (lol, need to cover myself so I don't look like too much of a jerk)
4:1 Patrick Roy is named the next coach of the Colorado Avalanche.
