Roy is in a tough spot. He figured the lockout would end before thanksgiving. And Kucherov would be out till then. He probably wants to keep Sorrensen, because he would be the only one back next year.

If I were Roy, I would think about packaging Grigorenko and Kucherov. Neither will be with Quebec next year. If the lockout ends Grigorenko will be gone this season. Both players would have to be agreed to it. (So they don't skip)

He burns a contract every game with a new euro, he can't go on like that forever. He has now used 29, will get to 31 after next weekend. They have 45 for the season.

And if you were talking about the trade front, I don't know... Could depend on the NHL season and when/if it starts.
I heard a rumour that he's not even injured and it's just an easier way to sit him and play Kucherov. I doubt it's true but one has got to wonder with all the negative media Roy is getting for breaking his word.

3 GM's in the Q say Kucherov has been put on the trade market by Roy.
Roy is in a tough position since the Remparts are contending. He is going to have to trade him to another contender cause what rebuilding team would trade for a player that's only going to spend the rest of the season. It's going to be intresting to see how this all plays out..
