I understand that, just the type of player. I don't see it. I see Graovac as more of a finesse player than Perry. Perry is grittier than Graovac. Whether it being a pest with stick infractions or others.

What a beauty! Excellent finish but Monahan set that all up.

Graovac has been a solid part of Yakupov's struggles tonight as well, his defensive positioning and recovery is very solid. I really like him at wing, top 6 or bust may not be true. A 3rd line winger is possible, he could be dangerous with a guy like Larsson or Phillips at center. There will be a ton of competition, I think Lucia and Haula could fill a similar role too, but I think he is at least making it a competition for our other players.

This is true, too. A pair of prospects and a player...ahhh I won't even get into it.

Not necessarily him...if we feel he has a chance it frees us up a little to let go of someone else if another team insists. great position to be in that way (for the Wild).

Just saw a great play by Graovac...because sometimes it's the little things that show character. A turnover by the OHL led to a 4 on 3 for Russia, and Gravo skated as fast as he could to get back to help and basically turned on the ultra boost on a level I havn't seen from him before. Kid has some serious speed with those long legs. Good speed, good hustle.

Not to buy into the hype, but it would be freaking great if Graovac could develop into a young Jordan Staal like 3rd line center for us. Not saying that is possible or that Graovac has ceiling like J.Staal, but a goal scoring 3rd line center with size and defense would be awesome.

Or even being a big part of an NHL-competent 4th line would be huge.

Koivu
Granlund
Brodziak
Graovac
