Love: The new Tufts Health plan one with the ginger (from the previous commercial singing too tired as an excuse for why he didn't work out) singing the new excuses as well.

Hate: all the political ads that we were bombarded with the last year.

Finally someone mentioned it! I'll take Flo, Geico, whatever, over any political ad!

Can't really pin-point any specific commercials that I currently "love" or "hate" (other than the aforementioned political ads). Always thought the Goldbond "rub it in here, rub it in good" was very BoP-appropriate. An old-time gem would be Terry Tate, Office Linebacker.

My wife's cousin (female) just called me and said "you are one of the most sensitive guys I know (her dad just passed this JAN and gave her some ideas with the holidays coming to help get through)...you also went shopping with me and had a tea latte at Starbucks...is there something you need to tell me?...

Have you seen the new one? More songs. Not as good as too tired, but it still makes me laugh.

Oh wait...

I love the etrade commercial with the baby..

Apparently riding the dog like a horse is frowned upon in this establishment.

end of my week+ of vacation.

decide to actually do something constructive around the house and mop the floor.

walk outside to the garage to get the mop and bucket.

step on a soaked rug.

water heater is leaking.

$565 later and a plumber is on his way out to install a new one.

vacation! :headdesk:

Well, 5 days later and the pup has passed on. What an awful past 2 days. Yesterday was filled with lots of throwing up from the dog, refusing to eat, and drinking a ton of water. Today was filled with walking around aimlessly falling over, and eventually just lying down and then it was over. I'm happy he was able to be around me when it happened, and at home, not at the vets.

I made peace with it last night. Slept in the kitchen with him, petting him, and scratching his ear the whole night.

RIP buddy, you were the best dog I could've ever asked for.

I'm so sorry. Anyone who's had a pet knows what this is like. He obviously had a good, happy life, and a loving ending. It's something we all should have.

They really are, especially when they're a few months shy of 15 years old, and you'll be 27. I had him over half my life, it's weird knowing he's gone.

I do appreciate all the kind words too, I'm sure some of you know exactly what I'm dealing with. Thank you, form the bottom of my heart.

Sorry to hear about it JRull... losing pets is awful. I've lost a good half dozen and it NEVER gets any easier to deal with.
