I just don't see it with him. I see Jack Johnson all over again. I hope I'm wrong because he's built like a brick ****house.

This is pretty much what I'm leaning towards. All the tools that he needs to succed, but absolutely none of the hockey sense to be able to put it all together for a consistent amount of time. He'll wow you one minute and then make 2 completely terrible reads leading to bad turnovers.

I said pretty much the same earlier in the thread, but I agree. It's scary how much he looks like Jack Johnson out there.

Monarchs sign defenseman Vincent LoVerde of the Ontario Reign to a try out agreement.

Thanks. Good to hear Lokti will be back soon. They definitely missed him the last couple games. Hopefully Nolan will be ready no later than next week. His physical presence will be a great addition to the team, not to mention his offensive abilities.

Any report on what the injuries are for Kolomatis and Campbell?

And nothing on Legein? I didn't see the hit because of the stupid jumbotron showing an ad which is what shows up on AHL Live. Cail and Ryan made it sound pretty bad, though.

I think Campbell was described as an upper body injury. Both according to the Union Leader (NH newspaper) had surgery.

Can't find any information on Legein's injury

Sloppy game all around, Trust me you guys didn't want to watch that one.

Bodnarchuk is the freakin real deal man, that guy can flat out play.

Muzzin had a terrible game, three horrible give away's (one led to a Goal).

Muzzin is starting this season like he did last season (Awful).

Jones had no chance on two of the goals, he was average.

overall it was just mental mistakes that cost a lot of guys.

Like Quick said "The great thing about hockey is, you put bad games behind you and play another game the next day".

Anyone know what happened to Prokhorkin? He's not in the line-up today.

I know he got the wind knocked out of him yesterday early in the game, but he came back several minutes later and I believe he played the rest of the game.

If I had to speculate I'd say probably just some lingering soreness and a desire on Morris' part to get one of the extra forwards a game.

Today's highlights:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7al25...ature=youtu.be

Bodnarchuk with yet another strong game. When we signed him, I thought he would just be a depth defenseman, but he's probably been the best dman thus far after Voynov.

Speaking of Voynov, he just looks so smooth out there. His puck control and poise never cease to amaze me.

Deslauriers still makes his fair share of mistakes, but he's been slowly improving his overall game.

Muzzin, on the other hand, is constantly looking worse. He makes SO many mistakes out there. He cost the Monarchs a goal yesterday and made some bad mistakes again today.

Bodnarchuk is just nails, you can tell how this guy is seasoned he doesn't make mistakes often.

Muzzin is just a train wreck right now, it's like he forgot how to play hockey.

Pearson is starting to play a very impressive 200ft game. Also this kid likes the front of the net.

Jones looks better each game.

Prokhorkins contract was ruled Invalid by NHL because he has a contract with a KHL team so this may be the reason why he didn't play last game.
