I just don't see it with him. I see Jack Johnson all over again. I hope I'm wrong because he's built like a brick ****house.
This is pretty much what I'm leaning towards. All the tools that he needs to succed, but absolutely none of the hockey sense to be able to put it all together for a consistent amount of time. He'll wow you one minute and then make 2 completely terrible reads leading to bad turnovers.

I said pretty much the same earlier in the thread, but I agree. It's scary how much he looks like Jack Johnson out there.
He definitely fit in on that line. It was nice to see Morris give Prokhorkin that opportunity instead of someone like Meckler or Czarnik (he had been using Cliche on that line, which...meh). Prokhorkin clearly has good hands and good hockey sense. I think the numbers will start to show up if he continues to get decent ice time with offensively talented players like Toffoli and Vey.
Thanks. Good to hear Lokti will be back soon. They definitely missed him the last couple games. Hopefully Nolan will be ready no later than next week. His physical presence will be a great addition to the team, not to mention his offensive abilities.
Any report on what the injuries are for Kolomatis and Campbell?
And nothing on Legein? I didn't see the hit because of the stupid jumbotron showing an ad which is what shows up on AHL Live. Cail and Ryan made it sound pretty bad, though.
I think Campbell was described as an upper body injury. Both according to the Union Leader (NH newspaper) had surgery.
Anyone know what happened to Prokhorkin? He's not in the line-up today.
I know he got the wind knocked out of him yesterday early in the game, but he came back several minutes later and I believe he played the rest of the game.

If I had to speculate I'd say probably just some lingering soreness and a desire on Morris' part to get one of the extra forwards a game.
Bodnarchuk with yet another strong game. When we signed him, I thought he would just be a depth defenseman, but he's probably been the best dman thus far after Voynov.
Speaking of Voynov, he just looks so smooth out there. His puck control and poise never cease to amaze me.
Deslauriers still makes his fair share of mistakes, but he's been slowly improving his overall game.
Muzzin, on the other hand, is constantly looking worse. He makes SO many mistakes out there. He cost the Monarchs a goal yesterday and made some bad mistakes again today.
