Marc Antoine Godin ‏@MAGodin
Marc Bergevin ne s’inquiète pas du fait que Jacques Beaulieu emploie Alex Galchenyuk à l’aile ces jours. (cont.)

Marc Antoine Godin ‏@MAGodin
« On se parle à l’occasion, Jacques et moi. Il pose des questions sur (son fils) Nathan et moi sur Alex. Je respecte que c’est son équipe.

Marc Antoine Godin ‏@MAGodin
Bergevin (suite): "Galchenyuk est un centre naturel, mais s’il peut jouer à l’aile, c’est encore mieux."

Marc Antoine Godin ‏@MAGodin
"Evgeni Malkin est un centre, mais ça ne l’empêche pas de pouvoir jouer à l’aile à l’occasion aux côtés de Sidney Crosby..."

Bergy not worried about Galchenyuk playing wing right now.

Nope, I'm mistaken. My bad.

Looks like Galchenyuk is playing right wing in the second, definitely like him better on that side than the left. Can better take advantage of his shot.

Edit

Looks like he's back on the left side

He played C on the PP, winning 1 of 2 faceoffs.

I know he's gotten some flack here, but Connor Murphy impresses me. Sure he's a work in progress, but he's a huge RH defenseman who can really skate and has a ton of skill.

Yep. Him and Basso are having quite a good game tonight. Murphy has been very solid the past 4 games. Huge improvement over that rough stretch in the middle of the season.

Yeah, the first PP, he was out there the entire time. Looked good too. He came out from the corner once, took a turn into the right face-off circle and dangled into the slot. Kid has some great moves. Plus, he may not be the fastest skater in the world but he explodes out of corners and is very agile.

Do you mind if I use these stats for my game reports? I don't track ice time, so it would be a welcome addition.

Haha, I'm watching the Bulldogs and Blades games as well, it's hard to do write ups every period. I don't want to miss any of the action!

Be my guest. They're not official, as I keep the time with a stopwatch, but you can use them.

I'm starting to think that it might be best for Galchenyuk to play in the nhl if he can make it in the top 9 and play ~10-15 minutes.

Knuckle puck pass to Boucher for the breakaway which led to a penalty shot but no result.

Still 2-2.

Galchenyuk! 3-2! Steals the puck from behind the goal line and drives to the front of the net!

30th point of the season.

Radio feed was super late. Gally with the clutch goal!

Maintains his recent 2 point per game average.

And the Sting are somehow 8-1 on the road.

If they were just good at home, they'd be running away with their division.

Gally in his last 7 games: 7 goals, 8 assists and 15 points.
