Nice rush from Tinordi, his skating has improved so much. You almost could have mistaken him for Beaulieu

Yeah, you can see an improvement in his puck skills as he's gotten used to the pro game.
Both him and Beaulieu are quickly becoming more well rounded as time goes on.

More on #Bulldogs Geoffrion: he took Côté's skate in face at tail end of 1st-period hit. He'll likely need hospital repair for that

This game reminds me of a Habs vs. Flyers playoff game for some reason. They keep possession really well.

Wow. Beaulieu really can't skate backwards, hahaha.
Did anybody see that with about 5 minutes left or so when he was falling all over himself trying to skate backwards?

Geoffrion update: he's at the hospital, had surgery, head injury - head hit the ice on the way down. His parents are with him. #Habs

That was a huge hit on Geoffrion. I hope he's okay, he's really been playing good as of late.
EDIT: ughh, didn't see the post above mine. That's not good news at all, my thoughts are with him and his family.

Man that was a boring game to watch.
Pretty sure there wasn't a single tape to tape pass made.
And how on earth do you give so many 2on1s ?

I think Beaulieu is at least 2 years away from the NHL..
We really have slim depth, cant see any NHL ready boys out there.. Only Tinordi and St-Denis would look decent in the NHL right now..

They'll take time but they're good players.
The tank will be over by the 2014-2015 season at the latest. A major influx of quality players will be coming in by then.

Mayer is solid, but the rest of the team...
The defense after St-Denis is particularly bad. Tinordi and Beaulieu were bad, but Ellis is awful. Not a AHL caliber player at this point.
Holland had a tough game too, while Bournival was invisible.
Besides Mayer, our only good players were Gallagher (despite a lot of mistakes) and Qualier. Boyce maybe too.

Tinordi in the NHL right now would be a disaster, he's at least a year away.

I only decided to watch 2 periods of the replay game.
Mayer was great.
Qualier with a great shot.
Tinordi fighting Gudas only bright point (goal and Mayer, too) for the Dogs.
Corbin gets bad luck it seems. Though, I still think the guy deserves to be a regular in the dogs lineup.
The dogs seem physical and don't back away. They're just too inexperienced/ not skilled enough at this point.

LMAO I love how your basing all of this on ONE GAME. Typical Habs Fans.. Its enough honestly. Soo Tinordi, Beaulieu, Ellis and seemingly much of the team have a bad game, but that does not make them AHL Caliber? They are 4-4-1, thats not too shabby for being as young as they are.
Beaulieu has been playing very well. I unfortunately did not watch the game, but to come out here and say "Beaulieu is awful" and all that, then you wonder why players wanna leave. Lets phrase that differently.. "Beaulieu had a bad game".
P.S Hope everything is alright with Blake, and my thoughts are with him and his family.

I dont think he would look that out of place with third pairing time but I was just saying no one on this team is NHL ready, so we really have slim depth in case of injuries when the game resume, especially up front..
